* neo-ipa-uguzzi: Update to lf-6.18.37_2.1.0Rodrigo M. Duarte3 days1-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Move to the nxp-imx branch and commit used by the LF6.18.37_2.1.0 release (8bdbe77). It synchronizes its copies of the libcamera files with libcamera v0.7.2, and adds RGB-IR dual mode tuning for the ox05b1s sensor along with several IPA fixes. Its copy of the NXP EULA moves to LA_OPT_NXP_Software_License v64.2, so update the license checksum. Tested by building it for imx95-19x19-verdin against both libcamera 0.7.1.imx and 0.7.2.imx. * libcamera: Update to 0.7.2.imxRodrigo M. Duarte3 days4-25/+161
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Move to the nxp-imx fork branch and commit used by the LF6.18.37_2.1.0 release (84d2508), which is based on libcamera v0.7.2. Refresh the verbatim meta-openembedded copy to the libcamera 0.7.2 recipe at 0938f25dc9. This brings its two build fixes (clang 23 -Wunused-template, EGL_NO_X11 redefinition), which apply to the fork unchanged, and renames the pycamera PACKAGECONFIG to python. Enable the kms PACKAGECONFIG, as meta-imx does, so cam can output to a KMS display. The upstream recipe now depends on libyuv, which only the virtual pipeline handler and the Android layer use. Neither is built here, and libyuv lives in meta-multimedia, which this layer does not depend on, so remove the dependency. Tested by building it for imx8mq-evk, and with neo-ipa-uguzzi for imx95-19x19-verdin. Signed-off-by: Rodrigo M. Duarte <rodrigo.duarte@ossystems.com.br>
* libcamera: Enable pycamera only with meta-pythonLuciano Dittgen2026-09-301-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | pycamera DEPENDS on python3-pybind11 from meta-python, which the layer does not require, so bitbake world broke for the libcamera SoCs without it, failing yocto-check-layer test_machine_world. The other dependencies are all in OE-core, so libcamera stays available without meta-python. Task signatures are unchanged on imx8mq-lpddr4-wevk with meta-python. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
* libcamera: Document the IPA re-signing helperLuciano Dittgen2026-09-161-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | do_package_recalculate_ipa_signatures had no doc string. The flag is set here rather than beside the function so libcamera_0.7.1.imx.bb stays a verbatim copy of the meta-openembedded recipe it tracks. The helper is not addtask'd; do_package:append runs it via bb.build.exec_func. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
* libcamera: Accept the upstream variable order in the copied bodyLuciano Dittgen2026-09-091-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | DEPENDS, PACKAGECONFIG and FILES sit where meta-openembedded's libcamera places them, and this file copies that layout verbatim at the hash in its header. Reordering here would diverge the copy, so the findings are documented inline. Comments only; effective metadata is unchanged. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
* libcamera: Move the i.MX overrides into a version-specific includeLuciano Dittgen2026-09-092-28/+31
| | | | | | | | | | The recipe is a verbatim copy of the meta-openembedded original followed by a trailing i.MX block. Holding both in one file leaves a re-sync unable to tell a local addition from an upstream removal, so the block now lives in libcamera_0.7.1.imx.inc, required where it used to sit. Parse order is therefore unchanged, and buildhistory on imx8mm-lpddr4-evk is identical. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
* libcamera: Add a DESCRIPTIONLuciano Dittgen2026-09-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Without it bitbake.conf applies DESCRIPTION ?= "${SUMMARY}.", so the package shipped its one-line summary as its full description. The Yocto recipe style guide lists DESCRIPTION among the variables a recipe should set. Kept on one line: an indented continuation leaks its indent into the packaged value as a run of spaces. This diverges on purpose from the verbatim meta-openembedded copy, which sets no DESCRIPTION. Validated on imx8mm-lpddr4-evk, the machine COMPATIBLE_MACHINE allows, with do_package forced; buildhistory is unchanged apart from metadata-revs. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
* libcamera: Order and de-duplicate DEPENDS entriesLuciano Dittgen2026-08-311-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The base DEPENDS list was unordered and listed python3-jinja2-native twice. Sort the entries alphabetically and drop the duplicate, per the Yocto Project Recipe Style Guide section 3.5.2 (DEPENDS/RDEPENDS ordering). DEPENDS resolves as a set, so removing the redundant second python3-jinja2-native and reordering the tokens does not change the build dependency graph. oelint.vars.dependsordered accumulates the base list and the entries added by the following conditional DEPENDS line and checks that the combined sequence is alphabetical. Because the conditional adds qtbase* (which sort before udev) after the base, the accumulated list was flagged. Change that assignment from += to :append so its tokens are gathered as a separate override group rather than appended into the base sequence. := append with a leading space is an unconditional append, exactly like the previous +=, so the effective DEPENDS is unchanged; the recipe has no later hard DEPENDS assignment and no bbappend touches DEPENDS, so the append timing does not matter here. The top section of this recipe is a verbatim copy of the meta-openembedded libcamera recipe (see the file header). This ordering, de-duplication and the += -> :append change diverge from that source on purpose to satisfy lint; a future re-sync should carry them forward. Validated on imx8mm-lpddr4-evk (fslc-wayland): libcamera was rebuilt with do_package force-tainted before and after the change, and the buildhistory for every libcamera package is byte-identical. The effective unique DEPENDS set (21 tokens) is identical on both sides. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
* neo-ipa-uguzzi: Document INSANE_SKIP already-stripped for oelintLuciano Dittgen2026-08-241-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | The prebuilt libcamera IPA binaries are already stripped, so the already-stripped QA check does not apply and the INSANE_SKIP is required. Add an inline # nooelint directive; reword the existing comment to describe the QA semantics rather than the skip action. No effective metadata changes. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
* libcamera: Document i.MX-fork SRCREV override for oelintLuciano Dittgen2026-08-171-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | libcamera_0.7.1.imx.bb is the i.MX fork of the meta-openembedded recipe: its top section is a verbatim copy of meta-oe (see the "meta-openembedded copy" / "Upstream hash" header), and the "i.MX overrides" section removes the upstream SRC_URI, points it at the nxp-imx fork, and re-sets SRCREV. Setting SRCREV in both the copy block and the overrides section trips oelint.var.override. Rewriting or dropping the copied SRCREV would diverge from the meta-oe recipe the block mirrors and reappear on the next re-sync. Annotate the copied SRCREV with an inline "# nooelint: oelint.var.override" (UPSTREAM-PARITY) instead, matching the weston and gstreamer i.MX forks. Comment-only change; no recipe output is affected. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
* libcamera: Document FILES overrides per oelint.var.filesoverrideLuciano Dittgen2026-08-141-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | oelint.var.filesoverride flags the ${PN}-gst and ${PN}-pycamera FILES assignments. Both are split packages with no default FILES, so '=' is a complete definition. Document each with an inline # nooelint rather than rewriting it, keeping the lines byte-identical to meta-multimedia libcamera to avoid drift in this .imx fork. No functional change. Tested with libcamera on imx8mp-lpddr4-evk; buildhistory unchanged. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>

* license: convert LICENSE fields to strict SPDX expressionsAntoine Gouby2026-07-222-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | OE-core now parses LICENSE as an SPDX expression, so the legacy "&" and "|" operators and non-SPDX names trigger warnings/errors during parsing. - pktgen-dpdk, skmm-ep, kernel-module-ar and skmm-host actually failed parsing with a QA error (LicenseRef-BSD has no generic license file since it was dropped from oe-core). Add NO_GENERIC_LICENSE[BSD] entries pointing at their existing license text file to fix them - Prefix non-SPDX license names with "LicenseRef-" - Replace "&" with "AND" and "|" with "OR" Signed-off-by: Antoine Gouby <antoine.gouby@toradex.com>
* neo-ipa-uguzzi: Drop double blank lineOtavio Salvador2026-07-121-1/+0
| | | | | | | Remove a consecutive blank line (oelint.newline.consecutive). No functional change. Signed-off-by: Otavio Salvador <otavio@ossystems.com.br>
* global: Set HOMEPAGE from SRC_URIOtavio Salvador2026-07-122-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add the mandatory HOMEPAGE to recipes that were missing it, using each recipe's own upstream git repository (github.com/gitlab.com) taken from its SRC_URI. Clears the oelint-adv oelint.var.mandatoryvar.HOMEPAGE error for these recipes. Only recipes with a single, unambiguous upstream repo were set automatically; recipes with multiple repos in SRC_URI (a main source plus dependency/patch repos) were resolved by hand or left for a maintainer, to avoid pointing HOMEPAGE at a dependency. Signed-off-by: Otavio Salvador <otavio@ossystems.com.br>
* global: Indent multi-line variable continuationsOtavio Salvador2026-07-122-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Align the continuation lines of multi-line variable assignments, as suggested by oelint-adv's auto-fix for a single rule (oelint.vars.multilineident), isolated to one commit. The auto-fix strips the leading space from a value's first line, which for a ':append' is a required separator; those five recipes had their leading space restored by hand, so ':append'/':prepend' concatenation is unchanged. A few multi-line values (e.g. DESCRIPTION) gain internal whitespace, which is cosmetic and collapses on display. Build-tested: parsing all 2948 recipes for an i.MX machine reports 0 errors. A residual set (the restored ':append' recipes, whose separator space oelint cannot reconcile with its indent preference, plus opencv/dpdk where oelint's own fix does not satisfy its checker) is left for per-recipe handling. Signed-off-by: Otavio Salvador <otavio@ossystems.com.br>
* global: Drop needless whitespace in assignmentsOtavio Salvador2026-07-121-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the stray space between an assignment's opening quote and its line-continuation backslash, and the space before '%' in inline ${@...} expressions. Generated mechanically by oelint-adv's auto-fix for a single rule (oelint.vars.notneededspace), isolated to one commit. The affected values are whitespace-separated lists (leading space is insignificant) and Python format expressions ("%s"% p is equivalent), so there is no functional change; a re-run of oelint-adv reports the rule clean. * libcamera: Drop tag fetch parameterLuciano Dittgen2026-07-071-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | The recipe pins the checkout with SRCREV, so remove the tag parameter from the upstream SRC_URI and keep the i.MX override removal string in sync. Tested with: git diff --check. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
* global: Clean up BitBake list spacingLuciano Dittgen2026-07-072-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | Normalize list continuations, append spacing, quote style, and simple flag values so the metadata follows oelint BitBake syntax expectations. Tested with: git diff --check. Signed-off-by: Luciano Dittgen <luciano.dittgen@ossystems.com.br>
