| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The psa CFLAGS:append kept its separator space inside ${@bb.utils.contains(...)} (' -DMBEDTLS_USE_PSA_CRYPTO'), so the :append value did not begin with a literal space and tripped oelint.vars.inconspaces. Move the space outside the expansion. When psa is enabled the appended token is identical; when disabled the append adds only whitespace, which is inert in CFLAGS. Validated with buildhistory: baseline and candidate builds of mbedtls (imx8mm-lpddr4-evk), forcing do_package. psa is not in PACKAGECONFIG here, so the only buildhistory delta is metadata-revs; the mbedtls packages are byte-identical. A few multi-line values (e.g. DESCRIPTION) gain internal whitespace, which is cosmetic and collapses on display. Build-tested: parsing all 2948 recipes for an i.MX machine reports 0 errors. A residual set (the restored ':append' recipes, whose separator space oelint cannot reconcile with its indent preference, plus opencv/dpdk where oelint's own fix does not satisfy its checker) is left for per-recipe handling. The patch tool will apply patches by default with "fuzz", which is where if the hunk context isn't present but what is there is close enough, it will force the patch in. Whilst this is useful when there's just whitespace changes, when applied to source it is possible for a patch applied with fuzz to produce broken code which still compiles (see #10450). This is obviously bad. We'd like to eventually have do_patch() rejecting any fuzz on these grounds. For that to be realistic the existing patches with fuzz need to be rebased and reviewed 2. drop openssl-1.0.2a-x32-asm.patch The patch was applied in a completely incorrect spot (due to fuzz), no one noticed or complained.
