* mpfr: upgrade 4.2.0 -> 4.2.1Wang Mingyu2023-09-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Changelog: =========== - Bug fixes (see <https://www.mpfr.org/mpfr-4.2.0/#fixed> and/or the ChangeLog file). - Improved MPFR manual. - Configure tests: replaced the test of the link with GMP, in order to avoid the use of a function without a prototype (Autoconf issue), as this is obsolescent in ISO C. The new test should be more robust. * meta: depend on autoconf-archive-native, not autoconf-archiveRoss Burton2023-05-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | autoconf-archive is a collection of m4 autoconf macros needed at build-time, and autoconf-archive-native is a suitable provider as there is nothing in the recipe that needs to be cross-compiled. Also if we use DEPENDS=autoconf-archive then the recipe's -dev package ends up RDEPENDing on autoconf-archive, which isn't correct. Universally change any DEPENDS on autoconf-archive to the -native form, and add any missing dependencies that were implicit before. * mpfr: upgrade 4.1.1 -> 4.2.0Wang Mingyu2023-01-121-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Changelog: ========== - The "fondue savoyarde" release. - Binary compatible with MPFR 4.0.* and 4.1.*, though some minor changes in the behavior of the formatted output functions may be visible, regarded as underspecified behavior or bug fixes (see below). - New functions mpfr_cosu, mpfr_sinu, mpfr_tanu, mpfr_acosu, mpfr_asinu, mpfr_atanu and mpfr_atan2u. - New functions mpfr_cospi, mpfr_sinpi, mpfr_tanpi, mpfr_acospi, mpfr_asinpi, mpfr_atanpi and mpfr_atan2pi. - New functions mpfr_log2p1, mpfr_log10p1, mpfr_exp2m1, mpfr_exp10m1 and mpfr_compound_si. - New functions mpfr_fmod_ui, mpfr_powr, mpfr_pown, mpfr_pow_uj, mpfr_pow_sj and mpfr_rootn_si (mpfr_pown is actually a macro defined as an alias for mpfr_pow_sj). - Bug fixes. In particular, for the formatted output functions (mpfr_printf, etc.), the case where the precision consists only of a period has been fixed to be like ".0" as specified in the ISO C standard, and the manual has been corrected and clarified. The macros of the custom interface have also been fixed: they now behave like functions (except a minor limitation for mpfr_custom_init_set). * mpfr: Fix compilation for ARCAlexey Brodkin2018-10-182-1/+47
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | MPFR has a couple of things implemented in assembly and in case of ARC those parts were written long ago when ARC GCC port was not yet upstreamed. On upstreaming of GCC some constraints were changed and so we can no longer build MPFR for ARC with up-to-date tools seeing something like that: | In file included from ../../mpfr-4.0.1/src/mpfr-impl.h:112, | from ../../mpfr-4.0.1/src/mul.c:24: | ../../mpfr-4.0.1/src/mul.c: In function 'mpfr_mul': | ../../mpfr-4.0.1/src/mpfr-longlong.h:415:3: error: impossible constraint in 'asm' | __asm__ ("add.f\t%1, %4, %5\n\tadc\t%0, %2, %3" \ | ^~~~~~~ (From OE-Core rev: 887a062ca139014ae6dfd1919e0ff9a5ef4db35e) Signed-off-by: Alexey Brodkin <abrodkin@synopsys.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

* Add texinfo.bbclass; recipes that use texinfo utils at build-time inherit it.Max Eliaser2014-05-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The class itself currently does nothing. The idea is to mark all recipes that make use of the texinfo utilities. In the future, this class could be used to suppress the generation/formatting of documentation for performance, explicitly track dependencies on these utilities, and eliminate Yocto's current dependency on the host system's texinfo utilities. * Replace one-line DESCRIPTION with SUMMARYPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | A lot of our recipes had short one-line DESCRIPTION values and no SUMMARY value set. In this case it's much better to just set SUMMARY since DESCRIPTION is defaulted from SUMMARY anyway and then the SUMMARY is at least useful. I also took the opportunity to fix up a lot of the new SUMMARY values, making them concisely explain the function of the recipe / package where possible.
