* irda-utils: Weak Define the build TARGETSKhem Raj2015-09-121-4/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This will help one to disable the targets via bbappends if needed e.g. musl can not compile irdaping since it uses includes net/if_packet.h, which (on GLIBC) only defines struct sockaddr_pkt but not in other libc e.g. musl that makes irdaping specific to glibc (From OE-Core rev: 6369bff034a6ee8fbf7fd47d3f9ba46c3ac1a367) Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* irda-utils: remove inherit autotoolsRoss Burton2014-09-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | irda-utils doesn't use autotools, so don't inherit it. (From OE-Core rev: d5e2a59ab59e3d67d09c5f25b8623186af855e17) Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* irda-utils: obey LDFLAGSChristopher Larson2014-09-221-5/+13
| | | | | | | | | | While we're at it, also switch to explicit variable passing rather than relying on make -e, and pass V=1 so the actual commands hit the logs. * autotools-brokensep: Mark recipes with broken separate build dir supportRichard Purdie2014-02-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch goes through the OE-Core recipes and marks those which use autotools but don't support a separate build directory (${S} != ${B}). A new class, autotools-brokensep is used for this purpose. This doesn't introduce any change in behaviour in its own right. (From OE-Core rev: 006b8a7808a58713af16c326dc37d07765334b12) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* Revert "Add missing RDEPENDS of initscripts-functions"Chen Qi2014-02-021-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Instead of manually adding initscripts to RDEPENDS of each package, we should make it automatically handled by the update-rc.d.bbclass. This solution would have the benefit of backward compatibility. In other words, users need not modify their recipes. This reverts commit 16080a3485bd793edd66ed8361f1e8b86a9e19ea. (From OE-Core rev: f9f193219bd510160b6b09bae652a9dc8ea01e7b) Signed-off-by: Chen Qi <Qi.Chen@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* Add missing RDEPENDS of initscripts-functionsChen Qi2014-01-061-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | Now that the initscripts-functions has been packaged separately, packages which may use the functions script should have a runtime dependency on it. * recipes: Remove PR = r0 from all recipesRichard Purdie2013-10-301-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove all PR = "r0" from all .bb files in oe-core. This was done with the command sed -e '/^PR.*=.*r0\"/d' recipes*/*/*.bb -i We've switching to the PR server, PR bumps are no longer needed and this saves people either accidentally bumping them or forgetting to remove the lines (r0 is the default anyway). * Major layout change to the packages directoryRichard Purdie2010-08-271-0/+36
Having one monolithic packages directory makes it hard to find things and is generally overwhelming. This commit splits it into several logical sections roughly based on function, recipes.txt gives more information about the classifications used. The opportunity is also used to switch from "packages" to "recipes" as used in OpenEmbedded as the term "packages" can be confusing to people and has many different meanings. Not all recipes have been classified yet, this is just a first pass at separating things out. Some packages are moved to meta-extras as they're no longer actively used or maintained.
