* connman-conf: do nothing in qemu, do not touch eth0Alexander Kanavin2022-01-123-35/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | qemu kernel itself is nowdays perfectly capable of setting up what was passed in via ip=: [ 1.676847] IP-Config: Complete: [ 1.677768] device=eth0, hwaddr=52:54:00:12:34:02, ipaddr=192.168.7.2, mask=255.255.255.0, gw=192.168.7.1 [ 1.679933] host=192.168.7.2, domain=, nis-domain=(none) [ 1.681201] bootserver=255.255.255.255, rootserver=255.255.255.255, rootpath= [ 1.681203] nameserver0=8.8.8.8 connman-conf only does the same thing again by (badly and incompletely) parsing those parameters with sed. * connman-conf: convert to systemd oneshotJoshua Lock2016-01-301-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | Install a oneshot unit file that is started before ConnMan to configure a wired network inteface with the wired-setup script, rather than requiring this script to be manually run some how. * connman-conf: add a global public DNS to network provisioningCristian Iorga2013-10-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | In case of QEMU machines, a global public DNS is provisioned, as the network is not configured via DHCP. Google's public global DNS server 8.8.8.8 is used. Partial fix for [YOCTO #4587] (qemu machines case). * connman-conf: Avoid appending IPv4 addressJukka Rissanen2013-03-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | If run more than once, the IP addresses would be appended to IPv4 variable. Avoid that by rewriting the IPv4 always. (From OE-Core rev: da682e752e351e5bb7636ee187db3eabc208c177) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* build-appliance-image: fix lost net connectivity after restartCristian Iorga2013-03-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The issue is that an ethernet config file is removed without proper checks in place (rm -f), which triggers an error and makes the connman startup script to fail. The file is now removed with proper checks in place. Fixes [YOCTO #4003]. * connman: Wired inteface provisioned via qemuCristian Iorga2013-03-073-3/+24
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - connman-conf package re-implemented - connman 1.12 introduces provisioning for wired interfaces also; - wired interface settings are read from kernel cmdline if present; - after that are passed to connman as a config file - for BA, this is not needed, as BA will have a network infrastructure to work with. Fixes [YOCTO #3227]; Fixes [YOCTO #3804]; Fixes [YOCTO #3843]. * connman-conf: configures connman in qemu machinesCristian Iorga2013-01-161-0/+3
For qemu machines, connman should not configure virtual wired interfaces. Wired interfaces (eth0) are assigned static IP addresses by the virtual machine manager (qemu). This packages places the eth0 interface in a list of blacklisted interfaces, forbiding connman administering wired interfaces for qemu machines.
