* lib/oeqa: rename assertRaisesRegexp to assertRaisesRegexRoss Burton2024-02-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | TestCase.assertRaisesRegexp was renamed to assertRaisesRegex in Python 3.2, so rename to fix a warning during test execution. * lib: Add copyright statements to files without oneRichard Purdie2022-08-121-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | Where there isn't a copyright statement, add one to make it explicit. Also add license identifiers as MIT if there isn't one. (From OE-Core rev: bb731d1f3d2a1d50ec0aed864dbca54cf795b040) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* oeqa/selftest/runcmd: Tweal test timeoutsRichard Purdie2021-06-291-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Load on the autobuilder meant we see occasionaly timeout issues with these tests. Slightly increase the test timeouts to better reflect the real world timings we see. * oeqa: Add sync call to command executionRichard Purdie2020-10-201-8/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | We previously put a sync call into devtool to try and combat the bitbake timeout issues on the autobuilder. It isn't enough as the timeouts occur mid test. They are also occurring on non-devtool tests. Add in sync calls around command execution instead. * oeqa/selftest/runcmd: Add better debug for thread count mismatch failuresRichard Purdie2020-06-231-4/+5

* meta/lib+scripts: Convert to SPDX license headersRichard Purdie2019-05-091-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds SPDX license headers in place of the wide assortment of things currently in our script headers. We default to GPL-2.0-only except for the oeqa code where it was clearly submitted and marked as MIT on the most part or some scripts which had the "or later" GPL versioning. The patch also drops other obsolete bits of file headers where they were encoountered such as editor modelines, obsolete maintainer information or the phrase "All rights reserved" which is now obsolete and not required in copyright headers (in this case its actually confusing for licensing as all rights were not reserved). More work is needed for OE-Core but this takes care of the bulk of the scripts and meta/lib directories. The top level LICENSE files are tweaked to match the new structure and the SPDX naming. * oeqa: Drop OETestIDRichard Purdie2019-05-091-17/+0
| | | | | | | | | | These IDs refer to testopia which we're no longer using. We would now use the test names to definitively reference tests and the IDs can be dropped, along with their supporting code. * oeqa/selftest/runcmd: Increase timeout deltaRichard Purdie2018-12-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | Expecting 1s accuracy on a 2s timeout on a heavily loaded system has proven to be unreliable. Update this to a 5s timeout with a 3s delta which should be achievable. * oeqa/selftest: Add missing IDs to various test casesJose Perez Carranza2017-09-111-0/+17
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Add decorator @OETestID() with Tesopia TC-ID to the test cases that did not have it properly set. * runcmd.py: unit testing for runCmd()Patrick Ohly2017-06-281-0/+117
This covers the traditional API as well as the new output_log feature. While testing, it was noticed that killing hanging commands does not work when a shell is used to run the command(s). This might be worth fixing.
