* backport: SPDX 3.0 fixes and tasks from upstream version WalnascarKamel Bouhara (Schneider Electric)2025-11-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Backports the SPDX 3.0 support and fixes from upstream walnascar commit 49f47169953b807d430461ca33f3a2b076119712 into upstream scarthgap. * goarch: Move Go architecture mapping to a libraryJoshua Watt2023-10-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Other spaces uses the Go architecture definitions as their own (for example, container arches are defined to be Go arches). To make it easier for other places to use this mapping, move the code that does the translation of OpenEmbedded arches to Go arches to a library. * lib: Import packagedata oe module by defaultRichard Purdie2023-09-261-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Variable dependencies for functions in the oe.packagedata module were missing as it was not present in BBIMPORTS. Add it as the fact it was missing is likely just historical oversight from base.bbclass history and the dependencies are useful. Add an exclusion to bitbake.conf to ensure BB_NUMBER_THREADS doesn't change task checksums. * base: Switch to use addpylib directive and BB_GLOBAL_PYMODULESRichard Purdie2022-12-081-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since bitbake now supports an official method to inject python modules, switch to it. Anyone using OE_EXTRA_IMPORTS will need to adjust their code accordingly, probably switching to their own module namespace. Also switch to using BB_GLOBAL_PYMODULES to list the global modules to import. * lib: Add copyright statements to files without oneRichard Purdie2022-08-121-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | Where there isn't a copyright statement, add one to make it explicit. Also add license identifiers as MIT if there isn't one. (From OE-Core rev: bb731d1f3d2a1d50ec0aed864dbca54cf795b040) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* meta/lib+scripts: Convert to SPDX license headersRichard Purdie2019-05-091-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds SPDX license headers in place of the wide assortment of things currently in our script headers. We default to GPL-2.0-only except for the oeqa code where it was clearly submitted and marked as MIT on the most part or some scripts which had the "or later" GPL versioning. The patch also drops other obsolete bits of file headers where they were encoountered such as editor modelines, obsolete maintainer information or the phrase "All rights reserved" which is now obsolete and not required in copyright headers (in this case its actually confusing for licensing as all rights were not reserved). More work is needed for OE-Core but this takes care of the bulk of the scripts and meta/lib directories. The top level LICENSE files are tweaked to match the new structure and the SPDX naming. * lib/oe: turn oe into a namespace packageChristopher Larson2014-03-171-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | This will let folks extend the oe package with modules from other layers. Given openembedded consists of more than just oe-core, I think this makes sense, and adds some useful flexibility.
