You can either:

a) switch to individual clones of bitbake, openembedded-core, meta-yocto and yocto-docs

b) use the new bitbake-setup

You can find information about either approach in our documentation:
https://docs.yoctoproject.org/

Note that "poky" the distro setting is still available in meta-yocto as
before and we continue to use and maintain that.

Long live Poky!

Some further information on the background of this change can be found

<title>testexport.bbclass oe-test: capture all tests and data from all layers</title>

testexport.bbclass only copied files from core layer to
the testexport.tar.gz to run tests. Then it filtered
out tests and files which were not specified in
TEST_SUITES variable.

Remove filtering of files to include parselogs.py
test data files which are machine and/or layer specific.
TEST_SUITES variable is now read from build time exported
data store when running tests so there is no need to remove
files from exported tests in testexport.bbclass.

Adapt oe-test script to find "lib" directories from
the new structure with layer specific paths which are
used to find tests and test data files.

<title>meta/lib+scripts: Convert to SPDX license headers</title>

This adds SPDX license headers in place of the wide assortment of things
currently in our script headers. We default to GPL-2.0-only except for the
oeqa code where it was clearly submitted and marked as MIT on the most part
or some scripts which had the "or later" GPL versioning.

The patch also drops other obsolete bits of file headers where they were
encoountered such as editor modelines, obsolete maintainer information or
the phrase "All rights reserved" which is now obsolete and not required in
copyright headers (in this case its actually confusing for licensing as all
rights were not reserved).

More work is needed for OE-Core but this takes care of the bulk of the scripts
and meta/lib directories.

The top level LICENSE files are tweaked to match the new structure and the
SPDX naming.

By default python logging module uses stderr as default stream
for output but is unix-like to use stdout instead, so change it.

In order to maintain compatibility with oe-selftest, the
load_test_components needs to be re-used, so the script
executor needs to pass to only load components supported
by certain script (oe-test, oe-selftest).

The new oe-test script will be use to run test components with
one single script.

The oe-test script search for test components inside meta/lib/oeqa,
the test components needs to implement OETestContextExecutor inside
context module in order to be supported by oe-test.
