You can either:

a) switch to individual clones of bitbake, openembedded-core, meta-yocto and yocto-docs

b) use the new bitbake-setup

You can find information about either approach in our documentation:
https://docs.yoctoproject.org/

Note that "poky" the distro setting is still available in meta-yocto as
before and we continue to use and maintain that.

Long live Poky!

Some further information on the background of this change can be found

<title>libical: improve buildpath situation</title>

Take an upstream patch to remove buildpaths from the generator's CMake
files, so we don't need to sed them out.

Also, the generator tool is only needed when cross-compiling libical,
so we don't actually need to install it in the target package. This has
the nice side-effect of removing libxml2 from the target RDEPENDS as it
is only used in the tool.

libical has a custom cmake introspection support,
and so native provisions by g-i class aren't effective
(it has only standard autoconf/meson options).
