We need to fix the "hosts: files dns mdns4" nsswitch.conf line because for a .local lookup it does a DNS lookup first which will fail. Writing to "/tmp/nsswitch.conf" leads to a race condition if two copies of the postinst are running simultaneously. Fix this by modifying /etc/nsswitch.conf in place using sed -i. Also make the same change to the prerm for consistency although the race will not occur here in practice. As discussed on the mailing list, this variable isn't useful and if wanted would be better implemented by distros using pn-X overrides. This patch executes: find . -regex ".*\.$bb\|inc$$" | xargs sed -i '/^PRIORITY = ".*"$/d' against the tree removing the referenced. Thanks to Phil Blundell for the command.
