This reference is poor. First, it placed Linux and Yocto very close together and could upset the Linux folks. Second, a better way would have been to say "Yocto Linux kernel." I have fixed by referring to kernels that are available through the Yocto Project as "Yocto Project kernels." I have re-written the section to now start with the default behavior of CONFIG_SMP=y and then have the user change the configuration to where it is not set. The changes include the reversing of the flow and the work-around needed due to bug 2256.
