# Container Registry Infrastructure Local container registry for Yocto/OE builds - analogous to package-index for containers. ## Quick Start ```bash # 1. **Use file-based auth**: Credentials files can be excluded from version control and have proper permissions - **Opt-in for home directory**: `home` mode requires explicit opt-in (like `BB_USE_HOME_NPMRC`) - Try configured registry first (e.g., `10.0.2.2:5000/yocto/alpine`) 2.
