This flag is not added if you run the compilation with CPython 3.4, as it only works with CPython >= 3.5, but by now this version of Python is quite old (and we no longer distribute cffi wheels for it). - You can manually disable Py_LIMITED_API by calling ffi.set_source(..., py_limited_api=False).
