Pyro enables you to build applications in which objects can talk to each
other over the network, with minimal programming effort.
Successor to the python3-pyro4 package - but this supports modern Python,
and still maintained (under the same umbrella that developed pyro4 also).
Ptest takes around a minute to execute. Sample output:
root@qemux86-64:~# ptest-runner

pyro4 is not maintained anymore, and it doesn't work with Python 3.11
fully either - and sure enough, when I tried to set up ptests with
Python 3.13, I got many failures.
Drop the recipe.
(There is an actively maintained successor, Pyro5 - new recipe should be
somewhere next to this patch.)

for what changes are needed, and sed commands that can be used to make them en masse.
I've verified that bitbake -c patch world works with these, but did not run a world
build; the majority of recipes shouldn't need further fixups, but if there are
some that still fall out, they can be fixed in followups.

Recipes are much more readable with whitespace around the assignment operators.
Fix various assignments in meta-openembedded recipes to show this is definitely
the preferred formatting.
This fixes recipes with larger numbers of issues but there are just under 100
other references left to fix.

With the upstream check migrated to the simple repo API, a number of the
recipes required updates to:
1. Remove outdated UPSTREAM_CHECK_REGEX checks
2. Add recipe specific UPSTREAM_CHECK_PYPI_PACKAGE definitions for
packages that use '_', CamelCase, or other deviations from PEP625 in
the source archive

The command "bitbake universe -c fetch" currently throws a ton of warnings
as there are many 'impossible' dependencies.
In some cases these variants may never have worked and were just added by copy
and paste of recipes. In some cases they once clearly did work but became
broken somewhere along the way. Users may also be carrying local bbappend files
which add further BBCLASSEXTEND.
Having universe fetch work without warnings is desireable so clean up the broken
variants. Anyone actually needing something dropped here can propose adding it
and the correct functional dependencies back quite easily. This also then
ensures we're not carrying or fixing things nobody uses.
