for what changes are needed, and sed commands that can be used to make them en masse.

I've verified that bitbake -c patch world works with these, but did not run a world
build; the majority of recipes shouldn't need further fixups, but if there are
some that still fall out, they can be fixed in followups.

When performing devtool check-upgrade-status, UNKNOWN_BROKEN status appears.
On the upstream source repository, releases are not identified by tags. So,
UPSTREAM_CHECK_COMMITS is set to 1, to find the latest upstream update.

<title>devmem2: the source and patches moved to github repo</title>

To cleanup metadata and improve source code management, github repo was
created here with all patches integrated:

Update recipe accordingly, bump the version while at it to distinguish
from the original.

Since sizeof(unsigned long) can be 8-byte on 64-bit architectures, use
uint32_t instead for "word" access to always be 4-byte/32-bit long.

Also introduce proper "long" 8-byte/64-bit access by using uint64_t.
