With the exception of paho-mqtt-cpp, the double protocol= attributes
were added to the SRC_URIs when protocol=https was added to all SRC_URIs
fetching from github.com in commit b402a3076f (recipes: Update SRC_URI

This patch updates SRC_URIs using git to include branch=master if no branch is set
and also to use protocol=https for github urls as generated by the conversion script
in OE-Core.

gcc10 is going to default to -fno-common which is opposite of all
previous gcc version defaults, ideally package should be fixed so it can
work with -fno-common but this is good enough for now, it does not
change default behavious with older compilers
