* Remove older platform specific BSPsSaul Wold2015-08-281-22/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The intel-core* BSPs supercede these older BSPs therefore it's time to remove these older platform specific bsps. Bump LAYERVERSION to 3 to allow the Autobuilder to know that these BSPs have been removed. Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
* Prefer linux-yocto 3.19 for all Intel common architecture BSPsDarren Hart2015-02-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | Update all the BSPs using the Intel common architecture that preferred 3.17 to prefer 3.19, now built by the intel-core* common BSPs. Signed-off-by: Darren Hart <dvhart@linux.intel.com>

* meta-crownbay: Use the v3.17 kernel by default for crownbay-noemgdNitin A Kamble2014-09-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | | The linux-yocto_3.17 recipe is available for this BSP. Make it the default kernel for this BSP. Signed-off-by: Nitin A Kamble <nitin.a.kamble@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Tom Zanussi <tom.zanussi@linux.intel.com>
* meta-intel BSPs: include meta-intel.incNitin A Kamble2014-09-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | To get common intel BSP configurations such as user land microcode loading support, each Intel BSP configuration needs to include the meta-intel.inc file. With the exception of few, many of the meta-intel BSP configuration files already include the meta-intel.inc file. With this commit now, all the remaining BSPs from the meta-intel layer also include the meta-intel.inc file. The Intel platforms BSPs hosted outside of the meta-intel layer, such as minnow, need to include the meta-intel.inc file to get the common features from the meta-intel layer. * meta-crownbay: move crownbay-noemgd to linux-yocto-3.101.5_M5.rc41.5_M5.rc3Tom Zanussi2013-09-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Add linux-yocto_3.10 bbappends to meta-crownbay and switch crownbay-noemgd to use them. Leave crownbay at 3.8, since the EMGD kernel branch hasn't yet been made to work with 3.10. Signed-off-by: Tom Zanussi <tom.zanussi@linux.intel.com>

| | | | | | | | | We want a failure to occur if the files specified in these statements can't be found (e.g. when there is a misconfiguration), so use require instead of include. Signed-off-by: Paul Eggleton <paul.eggleton@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Tom Zanussi <tom.zanussi@intel.com>

* meta-intel: update BSPs to use grub2Tom Zanussi2011-09-151-0/+2
| | | | | | | | grub2 is now the default, so explicit preferred entries are unnecessary. It also needs to be installed in the rootfs, so we need to add it as a dependency. Signed-off-by: Tom Zanussi <tom.zanussi@intel.com>

* allow override of kernel providerDarren Hart2011-08-111-1/+1

* meta-crownbay: remove tune-related assignments from machine confTom Zanussi2011-08-031-2/+0
| | | | | | | These are all now handled or obsoleted by tune-atom.inc, so remove them here. Signed-off-by: Tom Zanussi <tom.zanussi@intel.com>
* meta-intel/linux-yocto: update to match the renamed linux-yocto recipesBruce Ashfield2011-06-151-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The linux-yocto recipes have been renamed to include explicit version numbers. The meta-intel bbappends must be updated to follow the new naming convention. As a consequence of the recipe renames any SRCREV specificiations that were part of a machine.conf have been moved to the corresponding bbappend file. This allows the 2.6.34 and 2.6.37 SRCREVs to co-exist. Signed-off-by: Bruce Ashfield <bruce.ashfield@windriver.com> Minor whitespace cleanup. Remove inadvertant? linux-libc-headers provider change. * crownbay-noemgd: remove custom BASE_PACKAGE_ARCH and PACKAGE_EXTRA_ARCHSTom Zanussi2011-05-141-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | PACKAGE_EXTRA_ARCHS in the conf file gets overwritten by the tune-atom include following it, preventing the atom BASE_PACKAGE_ARCH from being included in the final PACKAGE_ARCHS and causing do_rootfs to fail. Remove the atom BASE_PACKAGE_ARCH and PACKAGE_EXTRA_ARCHS in the conf file and allow the values in tune-atom to be used as intended. Fixes [BUGID #986]. * meta-intel: use default rootfs size for BSPSTom Zanussi2011-05-031-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | The default rootfs size if left unspecified is the actual rootfs size + 20%. There doesn't seem to be a reason to make the default for these BSPs anything different, so remove the IMAGE_ROOTFS_SIZE overrides. Signed-off-by: Tom Zanussi <tom.zanussi@intel.com>
* meta-crownbay: switch to linux-yocto kernelTom Zanussi2011-04-041-8/+4

* meta-crownbay: 2.6.37 changesbernard-5.0rc1bernard-1.0rc1Tom Zanussi2011-02-261-0/+5
| | | | | | | | This adds the code necessary to move meta-crownbay over to linux-yocto. A follow-on patch will actually do the switchover once the kernel srcrevs are known. Signed-off-by: Tom Zanussi <tom.zanussi@intel.com>
* crownbay: update kernel SRCREVsTom Zanussi2011-01-231-2/+2
| | | | | | | Update both crownbay and crownbay-noemgd kernel SRCREVs to incorporate latest kernel changes (OHCI USB and AHCI SATA). Signed-off-by: Tom Zanussi <tom.zanussi@intel.com>
* meta-crownbay: upgrade to masterTom Zanussi2011-01-041-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | Upgrade the meta-crownbay BSP to current master. This updates the layer to reflect the naming changes that took place between laverne and the current master, and allows the BSP to be built for master. Signed-off-by: Tom Zanussi <tom.zanussi@intel.com>
* meta-crownbay: add a machine configuration that doesn't use EMGD graphicsTom Zanussi2011-01-041-0/+45
This adds a second machine to the meta-crownbay BSP that uses generic vesa graphics instead of the Intel-proprietary straight 'crownbay' version that does. The name of the new machine is 'crownbay-noemgd'. Though the graphics quality isn't as nice, the binaries for this version can be distributed without any need for license click-throughs or the manual step currently required for the EMGD version.
