Instead just keep everything in the bbappend. We can reuse the time-limited-kernel config fragment, so move that to a neutral location as well. The variable can be used in these files however it cannot be expanded, as it is here. We therefore need to remove the expansion and replace with the real string. This fixes builds in master.
