To cause Mesa to build the wayland-egl platform and Weston to build Wayland with Kernel Mode Setting (KMS) support, include the "wayland" flag in the DISTRO_FEATURES statement in your local.conf file:

     DISTRO_FEATURES_append = " wayland"
