* python: fix unrecognised options: --without-cxx --with-cyclic-gcSaul Wold2014-01-021-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | The -with-cxx changed to with-cxx-main sometime around the 2.5 time frame It appears that there never was a with-cyclic-gc configure option, or if there was it was from some past patch we no longer have. | | | | | | | | | | | This option appears to be commented out in the configure.ac with no explaination, It does not appear to be commented out in the source, so it occurs during the sqlite release process! * gcc: Drop 4.7.2 version since 4.8 is stable nowRichard Purdie2014-01-0255-8067/+0
| | | | | | | | | We've had 4.8 around for a while now, I'm not aware of any issues with it so we can drop the older 4.7 version. (From OE-Core rev: 15685dccd37f7636bbdd56af04a9dbc9b7595612) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* bitbake.conf: set a default for MACHINE_FEATURESPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Ensure that if MACHINE_FEATURES is not set by the machine config that we don't end up with expansion errors during parsing. Technically since the introduction of MACHINE_FEATURES_BACKFILL = "rtc" this is unlikely to be a problem unless "rtc" is also added to MACHINE_FEATURES_BACKFILL_CONSIDERED, however we should be consistent with DISTRO_FEATURES which is defaulted in bitbake.conf. * linux-dummy: set LICENSE to GPLv2 to avoid license warningPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This recipe doesn't actually produce any non-empty packages, but since it's pretending to be a Linux kernel it might as well pretend to have the same license, if for no other reason than to avoid producing a warning since the previous value ("GPL") isn't acceptable. * Add missing SUMMARY valuesPaul Eggleton2014-01-0220-0/+20
| | | | | | | | | | | | These recipes all had a long DESCRIPTION but no SUMMARY; since the SUMMARY is often displayed alone by package managers and the default value ("${PN} version ${PV}") isn't particularly useful, we should always try to set SUMMARY. * Replace one-line DESCRIPTION with SUMMARYPaul Eggleton2014-01-02297-395/+398
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | A lot of our recipes had short one-line DESCRIPTION values and no SUMMARY value set. In this case it's much better to just set SUMMARY since DESCRIPTION is defaulted from SUMMARY anyway and then the SUMMARY is at least useful. I also took the opportunity to fix up a lot of the new SUMMARY values, making them concisely explain the function of the recipe / package where possible.
