* autotools-brokensep: Mark recipes with broken separate build dir supportRichard Purdie2014-02-2812-12/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch goes through the OE-Core recipes and marks those which use autotools but don't support a separate build directory (${S} != ${B}). A new class, autotools-brokensep is used for this purpose. This doesn't introduce any change in behaviour in its own right. * curl: fix https certificate problemsKoen Kooi2014-02-111-5/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | point CA bundle to /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt instead of using the buildhost location, Configure would look at the buildhost and hardcode the bundle location for there into the target. This leads to non-working https support. Also remove the empty and now useless curl-certs packages since it's empty and no ALLOW_EMPTY has been set. Apart from making https work again with curl cmdline this also fixes libcurl which means git can fetch https repos as well instead of erroring out. * gmp: add configure.ac patch to append user provided compilation flagsLaurentiu Palcu2014-02-112-0/+53
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | gmp configure script is pretty good at auto detecting the ABI and the tune flags that need to be passes to the compiler. However, the user provided flags (CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS, CPPFLAGS) take precedence and the ABI detection may fail, leading to configure errors like the one below: | configure: error: Oops, mp_limb_t is 32 bits, but the assembler code | in this configuration expects 64 bits. | You appear to have set $CFLAGS, perhaps you also need to tell GMP the | intended ABI, see "ABI and ISA" in the manual. One solution would be to change the recipe and add the ABI manually, or let gmp do the job. So, this patch will: * allow the configure process to auto-detect the ABI and tune flags properly; * append our flags to the detected ones; [YOCTO #5783] (From OE-Core rev: 8339b9ac16e7d3206de21a204beffaae5203adbb) Signed-off-by: Laurentiu Palcu <laurentiu.palcu@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

* sqlite: remove unrecognised options: --enable-tempstoreSaul Wold2014-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This option appears to be commented out in the configure.ac with no explaination, It does not appear to be commented out in the source, so it occurs during the sqlite release process! * gmp: set SUMMARY and DESCRIPTIONPaul Eggleton2014-01-022-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | Use the same values for both versions (the GPLv2 version doesn't use the .inc file). (From OE-Core rev: 99c3f40299ddf97fd85eaea4d86176f2b4d4db92) Signed-off-by: Paul Eggleton <paul.eggleton@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

| | | | | | | | | Fix statement indenting and spacing issues that I happened to notice. (From OE-Core rev: d11e297b007aba625b398c52952ec929c3b02b83) Signed-off-by: Paul Eggleton <paul.eggleton@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* Add missing SUMMARY valuesPaul Eggleton2014-01-025-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | These recipes all had a long DESCRIPTION but no SUMMARY; since the SUMMARY is often displayed alone by package managers and the default value ("${PN} version ${PV}") isn't particularly useful, we should always try to set SUMMARY. * Replace one-line DESCRIPTION with SUMMARYPaul Eggleton2014-01-0251-50/+51
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | A lot of our recipes had short one-line DESCRIPTION values and no SUMMARY value set. In this case it's much better to just set SUMMARY since DESCRIPTION is defaulted from SUMMARY anyway and then the SUMMARY is at least useful. I also took the opportunity to fix up a lot of the new SUMMARY values, making them concisely explain the function of the recipe / package where possible. * Drop empty/invalid BUGTRACKER valuesPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Setting this value to blank or "n/a" in just a few recipes accomplishes nothing. (From OE-Core rev: 2d6f11d6bae8b03a00086f1dd43ca1853ac667d5) Signed-off-by: Paul Eggleton <paul.eggleton@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* enchant: fix unrecognised optionRobert Yang2014-01-021-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix the unrecognised option --disable-binreloc, the configure now uses: AM_CONDITIONAL(WITH_BINRELOC, test "x$br_cv_binreloc" = "xyes") We can use br_cv_binreloc=no to fix it. * libcap: Allow rebuilds to work correctlyRichard Purdie2013-12-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Currently rerunning configure for libcap causes a build failure. This fixes the sed expressions to work correctly for a rebuild. (From OE-Core rev: 2a7b96549aab7c6dd854edf3c18e2bb6bb48479d) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
