* binconfig-disabled: Add class and useRichard Purdie2014-06-161-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds a binconfig-disabled class which can be used by recipes where a -config file is installed but we wish to disable it and just rely on the .pc files instead. Rather than simply deleting it, we make the script "exit 1" so that it can be found in PATH and raise a build error rather than something silently falling back to the build system for example. Rather than randomly finding -config files, this adds in the specification of a list of binconfig scripts which is more deterministic and maintainable moving forward. This patch converts various users in OE-Core to use this, a world build of OE-Core tests out ok with this change. There will likely be issues in other layers however, hence this being a RFT. This could be a clue into how elf headers are being interpreted by dynamic loader. This was done with the command sed -e '/^PR.*=.*r0\"/d' recipes*/*/*.bb -i We've switching to the PR server, PR bumps are no longer needed and this saves people either accidentally bumping them or forgetting to remove the lines (r0 is the default anyway). NOTE: There were 2 errors in libcap.inc, the BUILD_LDFLAGS_virtclass_native should be BUILD_LDFLAGS_virtclass-native (the "_" should be "-"), otherwise it doesn't work, and the value was: "-Wl,rpath=...", this is incorrect, it shoudl be: "-Wl,-rpath=..." (lacked a - ), but we don't need this line, since it is already in the default BUILD_LDFLAGS. Remove it and we don't need to bump the PR since we just removed a unused line.
