* qemumips: use std vga instead of cirrus vgaAlexander Kanavin2020-02-212-78/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is what the upstream recommends nowadays: https://www.kraxel.org/blog/2014/10/qemu-using-cirrus-considered-harmful/ I have verified that both X and weston continue to boot and look right; however xorg.conf file needs to be removed as it is cirrus specific and doesn't work and isn't needed with std vga. * xserver-xf86-config: 1.20 qemumips fixArmin Kuster2018-09-171-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When updating to xorg-xserver 1.20+, mips64 would not work correctly and cause the xorg test to fail. Changing the DefaultDepth fixed that. | | | | | | | | | | | When using the modesetting with glamor and MUSL, the glamoregl library needs to be pre-loaded, so add it to the list here. * xserver-xf86-config: Remove legacy drivers from xorg.confJussi Kukkonen2016-11-017-217/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Trying to configure evdev and mouse leads to errors in X startup because xf86-input-libinput is now the default. No configuration should be needed: xf86-input-libinput should just work out-of-the-box. | | | | | | | | | | | | | Apparently, the default qemumips color depth was set to 8 and the colors were not displayed properly. cirrusfb driver doensn't seem to accept color depth as a kernel parameter, so we have to do it here. * xserver-xf86-config: empty generic xorg.confRoss Burton2013-02-221-26/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | The idea of a generic xorg.conf is meaningless, especially when they specify the "intel" driver. Empty this file so that unless the BSP specifies it's own xorg.conf, no xorg.conf file is installed. * Rename MACHINE=netbook to MACHINE=atom-pcDarren Hart2010-10-081-0/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | In preparation for the more generic atom-pc, rename the netbook machine and all the relevant overrides. Leave the linux-netbook kernel recipe intact and as the default kernel for the atom-pc machine. A future patch will convert this over to linux-wrs and likely remove the linux-netbook kernel recipe. * Major layout change to the packages directoryRichard Purdie2010-08-275-0/+235
Having one monolithic packages directory makes it hard to find things and is generally overwhelming. This commit splits it into several logical sections roughly based on function, recipes.txt gives more information about the classifications used. The opportunity is also used to switch from "packages" to "recipes" as used in OpenEmbedded as the term "packages" can be confusing to people and has many different meanings. Not all recipes have been classified yet, this is just a first pass at separating things out. Some packages are moved to meta-extras as they're no longer actively used or maintained.
