* xserver-kdrive: Fix X server on PowerPC when built with GCC 4.7.xGary Thomas2012-05-181-0/+233
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Newer versions of GCC uncovered illegal code practice which can cause runtime failures in the Xext/xace.c code. This problem has been fixed upstream: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/patch/Xext/xace.c?id=6dae7f3792611aace1df0cca63bf50c50d93de43 Subject: xace: Invalid reference to out-of-scope data. Incorporate this patch into the recipe, with a PR bump. * xserver-kdrive: work around issues with -Werror=addressGary Thomas2012-01-051-0/+362
| | | | | | | | | | | | | A number of calls to REGION_INIT() use a static box which is flagged as an error with -Werror=address. This patch works around the problem, but should not be considered a final solution. * Major layout change to the packages directoryRichard Purdie2010-08-2714-0/+1346
Having one monolithic packages directory makes it hard to find things and is generally overwhelming. This commit splits it into several logical sections roughly based on function, recipes.txt gives more information about the classifications used. The opportunity is also used to switch from "packages" to "recipes" as used in OpenEmbedded as the term "packages" can be confusing to people and has many different meanings. Not all recipes have been classified yet, this is just a first pass at separating things out. Some packages are moved to meta-extras as they're no longer actively used or maintained.
