| | | | | | | | | | ptest needs runtest-TESTS target. serial-tests is required to generate this target. (From OE-Core rev: d8e65c07ee8a4c6e29922ec37af82ed31ff814cc) Signed-off-by: Chong Lu <Chong.Lu@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* strace: apply ptrace.h conflict workaroundYasir-Khan2014-08-152-0/+109
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Apply patch from strace upstream to workaround ptrace.h header file conflict. This patch is not available in strace-4.8 tarball pulled in by recipe. * patch from strace upstream - Work around conflict between <sys/ptrace.h> and <linux/ptrace.h> (From OE-Core rev: 3c7301adce142bab64d49b5be7c39d8b223591f5) Signed-off-by: Yasir-Khan <yasir_khan@mentor.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

* Globally replace 'base_contains' calls with 'bb.utils.contains'Otavio Salvador2014-04-251-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | The base_contains is kept as a compatibility method and we ought to not use it in OE-Core so we can remove it from base metadata in future. * Replace one-line DESCRIPTION with SUMMARYPaul Eggleton2014-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | A lot of our recipes had short one-line DESCRIPTION values and no SUMMARY value set. In this case it's much better to just set SUMMARY since DESCRIPTION is defaulted from SUMMARY anyway and then the SUMMARY is at least useful. I also took the opportunity to fix up a lot of the new SUMMARY values, making them concisely explain the function of the recipe / package where possible. * recipes: Remove PR = r0 from all recipesRichard Purdie2013-10-301-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove all PR = "r0" from all .bb files in oe-core. This was done with the command sed -e '/^PR.*=.*r0\"/d' recipes*/*/*.bb -i We've switching to the PR server, PR bumps are no longer needed and this saves people either accidentally bumping them or forgetting to remove the lines (r0 is the default anyway). * strace: remove += assignment of a OVERRIDES variableMing Liu2013-10-301-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | In some cases, it's unfit to use "+=" in a conditional appending, we would end up with the variable being set rather than being appended, which is not it mean to. | | | | | | | | | | | | Add strace configure options libaio and acl to enable or disable build with them. Then PACKAGECONFIG can be used to handle dependency. Set "libaio" as a default feature of PACKAGECONFIG. * strace: Don't package strace-graphPhil Blundell2012-10-181-5/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 9c9ea24b115a9bb87df1323b5f185ce426262aec made strace depend on perl because the strace-graph script needs it. However, this cost of the dependency is large (building all of perl) and the value of the script is marginal. Let's just delete the script instead and remove the dependency again. If anybody wants strace-graph then it should be packaged in its own recipe and that one can be made to depend on perl without disrupting the main strace package. * strace: Define own sigmask macro if not defined already in signal.hKhem Raj2011-07-222-2/+26
| | | | | | | | | | | | This is required especially on uclibc systems where BSD compatible obsolete functions are disabled by kconfig. Therefore we check if the macro is undefined then we define it.
