* meta: Drop remnants of uclibc supportRichard Purdie2017-06-221-11/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | uclibc support was removed a while ago and musl works much better. Start to remove the various overrides and patches related to uclibc which are no longer needed. uclibc support in a layer would still be possible. I have strong reasons to believe nobody is still using uclibc since patches are missing and I doubt the metadata even parses anymore. * packagegroup-core-tools-profile.bb: Remove oprofile.Philip Balister2015-06-231-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Oprofile functions duplicate perf. Since perf is easier to use drop oprofile from the core-tools-profile package. Also, the oprofile-ui package opens a port on the device. removing this package reduces a possible security issue for devices with profiling tools. * arch-mips.inc: Change definition of TRANSLATED_TARGET_ARCHMark Hatle2015-01-291-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | [YOCTO #7230] In certain system configurations TRANSLATED_TARGET_ARCH will not expand in the right order for gcc-cross-candian-mips64n32 to be generated properly. This will cause SDKs to fail to generate properly. Changing the global definition of TRANSLATED_TARGET_ARCH always expands the ABIEXTENSION, which causes the OVERRIDES to pick it up as well. This effectively defines a new class of overrides for the 'n32'. The side effect is that we need to duplicate some mips64 overrides, and redefine others that were previously 'n32' or 'mips64' exclusive to have the correct semantics. * packagegroup-core-tools-profile: allow lttng-modules for ARMNathan Lynch2014-12-191-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Per commit f6587be6cd3dc864143b1c0be0bb8179a61dc835 (lttng-modules: re-enable ARM builds) lttng-modules is fine for ARM now. Without this additional change, tools-profile won't bring in lttng-modules when targeting ARM. | | | | | | | | | | | The base_contains is kept as a compatibility method and we ought to not use it in OE-Core so we can remove it from base metadata in future. * lttng-modules: Exclude armTom Zanussi2014-03-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | lttng-modules and gcc-4.8 don't mix, according to the lttng ML 'current_thread_info() not respecting program order with gcc 4.8.x', so remove it from arm builds. * packagegroup-core-tools-profile: don't exclude mipsChristopher Larson2013-06-111-11/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | Now that liburcu supports mips, this packagegroup can pull in lttng recipes (lttng-ust, lttng-tools, lttng-modules, babeltrace) on that architecture as it does for the others. * lttng2-ust: rename to lttng-ustTom Zanussi2013-01-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | recipes-kernel/lttng/lttng-ust was removed by a previous patch, which also removed the naming conflict that caused the lttng-2.0 version of lttng-ust to be named lttng2-ust. lttng2-ust was the only lttng-2.0 recipe to be named in this way and since that was entirely due to the conflict, we can go back to the consistent naming for it. * packagegroup-core-tools-profile: replace 'legacy' lttng with lttng 2.0Tom Zanussi2012-10-241-4/+21
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | packagegroup-core-tools-profile currently pulls in the 'legacy' lttng packages, which are useless without legacy lttng support in the kernel. This makes packagegroup-core-tools-profile pull in the lttng 2.0 packages instead, which don't need any kernel modifications to work. | | | | | | | | | | | | | These are needed to support upgrading from task-* to packagegroup-* within existing target images at runtime.
