* bluez5: Point hciattach bcm43xx firmware search path to /lib/firmwareMarek Vasut2022-11-031-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently the hciattach bcm43xx firmware loader looks up the firmware blob in /etc/firmware . Change this to /lib/firmware instead, so that the path is consistent with Linux kernel which also looks up firmware for the WiFi part in /lib/firmware . | | | | | | | | | | | | Unless we're using systemd, dbus is not pulled into the system automatically. Bluez5 will not work without dbus so add it to RDEPENDS explicitly. * bluez5: fix builds that require ell supportPeter A. Bigot2020-08-261-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Shortly after the recipe was updated to add ell as a mesh dependency the way ell was integrated into bluez5 was changed. BlueZ requires ell only for mesh and for btpclient (external test programs). It will be ignored unless either mesh or btpclient are selected. ell can be supplied externally, or it can be copied into the bluez build directory from an existing sibling source directory. Since bitbake builds do not provide a sibling source directory tell bluez to look for it as an external library in the conditions where it's required. * bluez: fix CVE-2020-0556Anuj Mittal2020-03-133-0/+180
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It was discovered that BlueZ's HID and HOGP profiles implementations don't specifically require bonding between the device and the host. This creates an opportunity for an malicious device to connect to a target host to either impersonate an existing HID device without security or to cause an SDP or GATT service discovery to take place which would allow HID reports to be injected to the input subsystem from a non-bonded source. * bluez5: Fix status subcommand of init scriptDavid Frey2019-01-141-8/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Update the bluez5 init script to resolve an issue where the status subcommand would exit without printing any message if bluez was not running. The early exit was caused by the fact that the init script has "set -e". When "pidof ${DAEMON} >/dev/null" is executed, the script terminates immediately if bluez isn't running because pidof returns a non-zero result. The fixed version does not suffer from this issue and makes use of the "status" function from the functions library.
