* oeqa/selftest/cases: Migrate test cases into the new oe-qa frameworkLeonardo Sandoval2017-06-061-227/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | New framework has different classes/decorators so adapt current test cases to support these. Changes include changes on base classes and decorators. Also include paths in selftest/__init__.py isn't needed because the loader is the standard unittest one. * selftest/pkgdata: replace the glibc recipe allowing execution on non-poky ↵Leonardo Sandoval2017-04-011-15/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | distros Replace the glibc recipe for zlib on unit tests, otherwise tests are restricted to glibc distros (poky). * selftest: Optimize get_bb_var useMariano Lopez2017-03-011-5/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | get_bb_var calls bitbake every time it is used and every call would take about 7 seconds. There are tests that calls get_bb_var several times when they can use get_bb_vars. Also there are tests that calls it to fetch the same variable over and over again. This will optimize the use of get_bb_var and get_bb_vars for a little speed up in the tests. * oeqa/selftest/pkgdata: use m4 instead of bashRoss Burton2017-02-071-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The pkgdata test broke due to oe-core cf0fd8b which added alternatives support to bash, so the binary is now /bin/bash.bash. Instead of fixing the test case for this new name, use the m4 recipe instead as it has less build dependencies. * oe-pkgdata-util: Make read-value handle override variablesOla x Nilsson2016-12-141-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some variables in pkgdata files have a package-name override. When the bare variable can not be found, try with the override-variant. PKGSIZE is one such variable, and already had special code to handle this. Test included. * classes/lib: Update to explictly create lists where neededRichard Purdie2016-06-021-28/+28
| | | | | | | | | Iterators now return views, not lists in python3. Where we need lists, handle this explicitly. (From OE-Core rev: caebd862bac7eed725e0f0321bf50793671b5312) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

* lib/oe/package_manager: support exclusion from complementary glob process by ↵Paul Eggleton2015-02-171-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | regex Sometimes you do not want certain packages to be installed when installing complementary packages, e.g. when using dev-pkgs in IMAGE_FEATURES you may not want to install all packages from a particular multilib. This introduces a new PACKAGE_EXCLUDE_COMPLEMENTARY variable to allow specifying regexes to match packages to exclude.
