* oeqa/runtime_test: Disable test_testimage_virgl_gtkRichard Purdie2020-09-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This test keeps failing on the autobuilder and is proving extremely annoying. It works much better in later releases but for zeus and earlier, lets just stop running it as it doesn't really tell us anything useful at this point, nobody has any plans to improve the distro exclusions or otherwise fix it in the older releases. * meta/lib+scripts: Convert to SPDX license headersRichard Purdie2019-06-181-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds SPDX license headers in place of the wide assortment of things currently in our script headers. We default to GPL-2.0-only except for the oeqa code where it was clearly submitted and marked as MIT on the most part or some scripts which had the "or later" GPL versioning. The patch also drops other obsolete bits of file headers where they were encoountered such as editor modelines, obsolete maintainer information or the phrase "All rights reserved" which is now obsolete and not required in copyright headers (in this case its actually confusing for licensing as all rights were not reserved). More work is needed for OE-Core but this takes care of the bulk of the scripts and meta/lib directories. The top level LICENSE files are tweaked to match the new structure and the SPDX naming. * oeqa: Drop OETestIDRichard Purdie2019-05-201-9/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | These IDs refer to testopia which we're no longer using. We would now use the test names to definitively reference tests and the IDs can be dropped, along with their supporting code. * selftest: add tests for virgl GL accelerationAlexander Kanavin2019-03-041-0/+66
| | | | | | | | | | Note that the tests require that the host machine has a X display, has mesa development files installed and is able to create OpenGL contexts. | | | | | | | | | Without this, we see errors if gpg is missing from the host system for "oe-selftest -r runtime_test.TestImage.test_testimage_dnf". (From OE-Core rev: e91838b63b506e2969582b2b8511fd3724d6aa3f) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* oeqa/selftest/runtime_test: Fix ↵Richard Purdie2018-09-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | runtime_test.TestImage.test_testimage_install after ssl changes The test installs socat and expects it to run but assumes all its dependencies are already installed (which includes libssl). Recent changes mean this isn't the case so force libssl into the image in advance to work around this issue for now. * lib/oe/package_manager: turn postinst failure warnings into bitbake failuresAlexander Kanavin2018-09-041-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Sumo release provides a transition period so that deferrals to first boot via 'exit 1' can be converted to pkg_postinst_ontarget(). For the next release however, postinst script failures should be treated as such. * oe-selftest: add a test for failing package post-installation scriptletsAlexander Kanavin2018-03-151-0/+37
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The test runs a scriptlet that has an intentionally failing command in the middle and checks for two things: 1) that bitbake does warn the user about the failure 2) that scriptlet execution stops at that point. The test is run for all three package types: rpm, deb, ipk. * oeqa/selftest/runtime_test: simplify postinst testingRoss Burton2017-12-021-63/+19
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Update the packages and file names to reflect the new postinst recipe. Fix a sh syntax error in the run_serial file exists test which was hidden by a logic problem in the status code. Remove the older test_verify_postinst as it's effectively a subset of test_postinst_rootfs_and_boot, and doesn't work: when booting under systemd the strings it searches for are not output to the console, but the test still passes. * selftest/cases/runtime_test: ignore removal errors when cleaning temporary ↵Leonardo Sandoval2017-09-261-3/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | gpg directory The high-level method tempfile.TemporaryDirectory give us no way to ignore erros on removal thus use tempfile.mkdtemp instead. Ignoring possible issues on removal is neccesary because it contains gpg sockets that are automatically removed by the system once the process terminates, otherwise the following log is observed: File "/usr/lib/python3.5/shutil.py", line 436, in _rmtree_safe_fd os.unlink(name, dir_fd=topfd) FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'S.gpg-agent.browser' This is the same fix as 7e3a7cd2426feac757def81850dc44156cd0f33e, but this applies to runtime (instead of signing). * oeqa: fix dnf testsMarkus Lehtonen2017-08-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Rename one dnf runtime test that it will recognized as a python module and thus also found by the oe test loader. Also, fix value of TEST_SUITES in dnf selftest so that all test dependencies are satisfied and the runtime test may be successfully run from there. * oeqa/runtime_test: use subtests in test_postinst_rootfs_and_bootRoss Burton2017-08-131-33/+27
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | As this test has two nested loops and actually runs six times, use UnitTest.subTest() so we can tell which instance is failing, and to run all variations instead of failing on the first one. Also set PACKAGE_CLASSES to just the type we need to reduce the verboseness of the output, and consolidate the feature generation to be neater. * runtime-test.py: Split different tests inside selftest.pyHumberto Ibarra2017-06-091-2/+18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There were two completely different tests inside selftest.py, and the only reason for them to be together was that both needed the same mechanism to execute (run testimage from within selftest) This fixes the design issue and error-prone situation by separating these tests. In add a new module for dnf-runtime and also has an extra time added to running the tests, but it is minimal since the builds reuse data from previuous build. * oeqa/selftest/cases: Migrate test cases into the new oe-qa frameworkLeonardo Sandoval2017-06-061-0/+239
New framework has different classes/decorators so adapt current test cases to support these. Changes include changes on base classes and decorators. Also include paths in selftest/__init__.py isn't needed because the loader is the standard unittest one.
