* meta/lib+scripts: Convert to SPDX license headersRichard Purdie2019-06-181-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds SPDX license headers in place of the wide assortment of things currently in our script headers. We default to GPL-2.0-only except for the oeqa code where it was clearly submitted and marked as MIT on the most part or some scripts which had the "or later" GPL versioning. The patch also drops other obsolete bits of file headers where they were encoountered such as editor modelines, obsolete maintainer information or the phrase "All rights reserved" which is now obsolete and not required in copyright headers (in this case its actually confusing for licensing as all rights were not reserved). More work is needed for OE-Core but this takes care of the bulk of the scripts and meta/lib directories. The top level LICENSE files are tweaked to match the new structure and the SPDX naming. * classutils.py: deterministic sortingJuro Bystricky2017-04-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The method "prioritized" returns a list sorted by the value of the "priority" field, in descending order. However, if several list items have the same priority, the ordering of those items within the priority-sorted list becomes random. As a consequence, we may end up with a non-deterministic oe-terminal spawning, as several terminals have the same priority. So running commands such as $ bitbake xxx -cdevshell $ bitbake yyy -cmenuconfig may spawn a different terminal each time, for example sometimes Gnome and sometimes Konsole as hey have the same priority. Rather than modifying the priorities so they all differ, we sub-sort the list based on (terminal) names. This way we achieve a deterministic outcome. * classes/lib: Complete transition to python3Richard Purdie2016-06-021-7/+8
| | | | | | | | | This patch contains all the other misc pieces of the transition to python3 which didn't make sense to be broken into individual patches. (From OE-Core rev: fcd6b38bab8517d83e1ed48eef1bca9a9a190f57) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* classes/lib: Update to explictly create lists where neededRichard Purdie2016-06-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Iterators now return views, not lists in python3. Where we need lists, handle this explicitly. (From OE-Core rev: caebd862bac7eed725e0f0321bf50793671b5312) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* oe.classutils: add moduleChris Larson2011-06-281-0/+43
This adds a ClassRegistry utility metaclass, as maintaining a class registry is a fairly common thing to do. (From OE-Core rev: 6a46c375bea03b145bea41ec29ae2fd4d3cd9db6) Signed-off-by: Chris Larson <chris_larson@mentor.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
