\| \| \| \| \| \| \| \| \| \|	As far as I can tell, none of these uses of PACKAGESPLITFUNCS need append/prepend operators, the standard += and =+ can work just fine. Since OE-Core is copied a lot, use the preferred syntax which is also simpler to parse and change.
