* bitbake: toaster: address Django-1.10 API deprecationsDavid Reyna2017-06-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are four main API deprecations in Django-1.10: (a) String view arguments to url() must be replaced by the explicit class reference (b) New TEMPLATES stucture in settings.py consolidates TEMPLATE_DIRS, TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS, TEMPLATE_LOADERS, TEMPLATE_STRING_IF_INVALID, and TEMPLATE_DEBUG (c) patterns() wrapper in url() is removed, with urlpatterns now a simple list (d) NoArgsCommand in commands() must be replace by BaseCommand, and handle_noargs() changed to handle() Also, the Django version checker must be updated to accept two digit sub-version numbers (e.g. "1.8" < "1.10") [YOCTO #11684] (Bitbake rev: e4c7a94fac7a53fc146387a57e5a09b9ec3caca0) Signed-off-by: David Reyna <David.Reyna@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* bitbake: toaster: modified list of dependenciesEd Bartosh2016-06-021-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Removed dependency to argparse and wsgiref as they're in standard python library. wsgiref crashes during installation with python 3 as it's not compatible with python 3. Added dependency to pytz as it's used in the toaster code. * bitbake: toaster: rework checking of Django versionEd Bartosh2015-12-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Checked django version considering information from toaster-requirements.txt, e.g. if requirements file contains line "Django>1.8,<1.9" toaster should be able to check that requirement correctly. * bitbake: toaster: Upgrade to Django 1.8.6 and remove SouthElliot Smith2015-12-141-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Upgrade Django to long-term support version. Django now provides its own migration framework, so remove requirement for South. * bitbake: toaster: Use Python's mimetypes moduleElliot Smith2015-10-111-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | filemagic is used to guess the mimetype of files when a user requests a download. However, this adds a dependency on an external library. Python does have a mimetypes module, though this guesses the mimetype rather than doing anything clever with the actual file content. But for our purposes, it's more than adequate. (NB Django also uses this module when serving static files.) Use this instead of relying on any external code, and remove the filemagic dependency. * bitbake: toaster: hide irrelevant builds in the project builds viewAlexandru DAMIAN2015-09-191-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes the project builds view so it doesn't show "in progress" builds or builds for other projects. Note that this also modifies the "all builds" view to use the same queryset filtering as the project builds. This is to avoid excluding "in progress" builds more than once, which is what was happening before. The patch also has a minor change to ensure that when displaying the project builds page, only builds for that project are in the results. The queryset filtering is now split over several lines so you can see what's going on. * bitbake: toaster: Don't def a function for each call to build_artifact()Elliot Smith2015-09-181-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Cache the mimetype object and only define the function for getting a mimetype once. Also ensure that filemagic is listed as a requirement of toaster. Doing this also means we can remove the code which tries multiple different "magic" libraries, as we know we have the right version available. * bitbake: toaster-requirements.txt: document requirements for the python ↵Alexandru DAMIAN2014-07-231-0/+4
environment Since Toaster adds a number of specific requirements managed by pip, we document these requirements in order to be able to run bitbake and toaster under virtualenv. The target here is to break the dependency on distro packages for specific python libraries. In order to start bitbake/Toaster in a distro-independent manner, we use virtualenv and pip. We add venv to the .gitignore list to make room for the virtualenv deployment in this directory. Use this command sequence to setup the virtualenv: $ virtualenv venv $ . venv/bin/activate $ cat toaster-requirements.txt | xargs pip install bitbake and Toaster will then run normally under virtualenv. We also fix bugs related to toaster starting in managed mode through this script: * toaster will not use bldcontrol application in interactive mode * a proper message will be displayed if toaster detects a managed start request in a build environment (Bitbake rev: b5789c7ea7e6d1a4b67ec60fc0e4233ec543ba3a) Signed-off-by: Alexandru DAMIAN <alexandru.damian@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
