* bitbake: toaster: Move xhr calls for starting and stopping buildsMichael Wood2016-04-061-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | Move the backend xhr implementation of the build request changes into it's own file and out of the ToasterTable definition. It used to live in the views.py but in a hope of starting to collate logical groups of views move this to a new file called api. * bitbake: toaster: rework task buildstats storage and displayElliot Smith2016-03-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The data available from buildstats is now more fine grained than previously, so take advantage of that to enrich the data we save against tasks: * Store the CPU usage for user and system separately, and display them separately. * Disk IO is now measured in bytes, not ms. Also store the read/write bytes separately. * Store started and ended times, as well as elapsed_time. This will enable future features such as showing which tasks were running at a particular point in the build. There was also a problem with how we were looking up the Task object, which meant that the buildstats were being added to new tasks which weren't correctly associated with the build. Fix how we look up the Task (only looking for tasks which match the build, and the task and recipe names in the build stats data) so the build stats are associated with the correct task. * bitbake: toaster: tables SelectPackagesTable rename recipe_id to custrecipeidMichael Wood2016-02-101-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Rename the recipe_id to custrecipeid to avoid confusion about which type of object we're going to be accessing. This means that in the unit tests for tables we can pass a different kwargs for custom recipes vs normal recipes. * bitbake: toaster: tables Add table for Packages and update SelectPackagesTableMichael Wood2016-02-101-5/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Create a Packages table for use as the image details page. Change the SelectPackagesTable table to inherit from the Packages table. Remove the need for a separate view by adding the additional template context items to the Table's page context. * bitbake: toastergui: convert all builds page to ToasterTableElliot Smith2016-01-151-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For better long-term maintainability, use ToasterTable instead of Django template and view code to display the all builds page. NB the builds.html template has been left in, as this will otherwise cause conflicts when merging the new theme. * bitbake: toastergui: switch projects/ view to ToasterTableElliot Smith2016-01-151-7/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the old projects page and replace with the new ToasterTable-based version. NB although the projects.html template is no longer required, it's been left in as there will be changes applied to it for the new theme. These changes will have to then be transferred from the projects.html template to projects-toastertable.html. Similarly, the code for the projects page in views.py has been retained. * bitbake: toastergui: use ToasterTable for projects pageElliot Smith2016-01-151-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The projects page uses the old approach for showing tables, which means a template for each table. This means that applying changes to ToasterTable (which is used for most tables) has no effect on the layout, styling and behaviour for these older tables, and requires additional duplicated effort. Move the projects page to use ToasterTable instead, to remove the duplication of effort. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The API for RedirectView is due to change in Django 1.9, which means that Toaster generates deprecation warnings. * bitbake: toaster: refactor build modelAlexandru DAMIAN2015-06-261-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We remove the "timespent", "errors_no" and "warnings_no" fields in favor of computing the needed values at runtime. This prevents inconsistencies in the UI. Also removeing all references to BuildRequests from the interface - all build details now display in the build dashboard. Minor fixes related to data logging. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes issues brought in by refactoring: * the New Build button is working with pre-set projects * the xhr_datatypeahead is exposed for calls that are not mapable to the REST objects * a new table returing recipes provided by layers currently selected in the project is used to provide recipe suggestions * the field names in json are switched from "list" to "rows" as to maintain consistency with the ToasterTables * the "value" field in xhr_ calls is now named "search" to maintain consistency (Bitbake rev: a5bc29083d4f85a5695f3f62d5badb783c6f7224) Signed-off-by: Alexandru DAMIAN <alexandru.damian@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* bitbake: toastergui: remove xhr_datatypeahaed layerdeps callAlexandru DAMIAN2015-06-121-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes the url-constructing calls to get the layer details in favor of embedding the look-up URL in the JSON data on the layer list page. This allows further removal of the XHR-specific code for layer dependencies in favor of REST calls to layer details data. * bitbake: toastergui: remove xhr_projectedit and xhr_projectinfo URLsAlexandru DAMIAN2015-06-121-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes the xhr_projectedit and xhr_projectinfo URLs in favour of REST calls to the Project page. The project page takes now the POST requests to modify project settings. All usages of removed URLs are now changed to point to the project page, using the json format. The interface call specs have not modified. * bitbake: toaster: toastertables REST refactoringAlexandru DAMIAN2015-06-121-9/+21
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch refactors the ToasterTables to bring them in line with REST principles - - all table pages now support the "format=json" GET parameter that returns the data in JSON format - the tables themselves This cleans up the URL namespace by aleviating the need to have two URLS for each table (one for the template and one for the data loading), and fixes minor things in the ToasterTable implementation. * bitbake: toaster: move project data typeahead to the REST APIAlexandru DAMIAN2015-06-121-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch enables JSON requests on the project REST endpoint, and replaces the universal queries "xhr_datatypeahead" with the `project` type to the REST project endpoint. The patch adds a decorator that takes a context returned by a view and either renders the template specified as the decorator argument, or converts the context to JSON. Normal "search", "filter" and "order" options for view work as normal on the JSON API format. To enable the JSON return, set the "format" GET parameter to "json". In order to demonstrate the functionality, the "New build" button is switched from using the xhr_datatypeahead to the project REST API with JSON formatting. Additionally, the XHR APIs that perform actions with the project id passed as parameter are removed, and the needed URLs are populated from the project JSON API returns after the project has been selected. * bitbake: toasterui: URL refactoringAlexandru DAMIAN2015-05-121-8/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is a URL refactoring needed to remove the inadvertent usage of server-side user session in a REST-style API. We move the parameters that were stored in the user session to the URL, making navigation more robust. This refactoring allows a clean (no 500 HTTP return codes) crawl of the website following inside links. * bitbake: toastergui: dirinfo needs path separationAlexandru DAMIAN2015-03-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In the dirinfo URLs we use the "/" separator for directory separation which coincides with the "/" separator in HTTP URIs. This is not a problem, but we must not have consecutive "/" characters as the web servers will conflate those - we add a "_" delimitator to separate the Django managed URL from the dirpath parameter, while maintaining the unique ID of REST urls. * bitbake: toastergui: bring back base URLs for pages that need themAlexandru DAMIAN2015-03-091-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some URLs, although invalid on their own, are used in JS to build valid page pointers. Previous patch removed two of these URLs, breaking the display of several patches. This patch re-adds these URLs with different names, and returns 400 Bad Request empty pages on them, which is consistent with the intended usage of these URLs. * bitbake: toaster: add sort, search, paging to recipe package pageDave Lerner2015-03-091-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When selecting the packages tab on a recipe detail page, the page now includes: column sort on package name and size columns, search on the package name, and pagination. Column sort is added by splitting the recipe view/html for a recipe's package list into a new url path, view name and template, so that the sorting routine, views.reload_params(), interfaces similar to other views. Search, sorting, and pagination are implemented for this detail page using three new templates. templates/detail_pagination_bottom.html templates/detail_search_header.html templates/detail_sorted_header.html views.recipe() is optimized since the recipe's package list is no longer needed by the recipe template, only the recipe's package count is required for the first page. The recipe view and template also changes to support tabbing to the right context on the recipe detail page from the recipe-package page. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit adds the layer details page which shows the metadata for the layer such as layer description, machines associated with the layer as well as the targets provided. If the layer is an imported layer this page also allows you to update the layer's configuration. >From this page you can add/remove the layer from the current project (Bitbake rev: c1442bc68ad8ba20c37b1a7cde1400297f4be811) Signed-off-by: Michael Wood <michael.g.wood@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
* bitbake: toaster: Add import layer feature.Michael Wood2014-12-181-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This feature allows users to import layers from git into their current project and associate it with the release of the current project and the dependencies for the newly imported layer with existing layers. It will also resolve the child dependencies of the dependencies added. * bitbake: toastergui: provide download file capabilityAlexandru DAMIAN2014-10-301-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We add, for the localhost environments, the capability to download build artifacts. This is a pontentially dangerous API, because it gives unrestricted read access to the build environment file system - do not expose the functionality directly to the web layer, but use filtering/translation code, such as exemplified in the build_artifact view. The capability for remote build environments is dependent on bug 6835, as to use the collect storage as intermediary storage for serving files. * bitbake: toaster: changes to the landing pageAlexandru DAMIAN2014-10-301-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch brings in a new landing page to be shown when there are no builds and no projects available. The builds page now displays only only the builds part, without the landing page bits. There is a new projects page that displays the All Projects table as specified in the design. * bitbake: toastergui: added pages for project detailsAlexandru DAMIAN2014-09-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We add new pages for the layer importing, layer details, showing project builds and project configuration. The pages are in read-only mode, but they're needed as to be able to verify the quality of data in the system. Write capabilities will be added in a subsequent patch.
