I've received some feedback on the 'Revision' label we use in the import
layer page. It is not quite communicating that what's required is a Git
revision. Changing it to 'Git revision' to make it a bit more specific.
The change applies not only to the import layer page, but to all pages
showing revision information in the project configuration section.
For more on the feedback received, check

'delete' for layer removal, so change it to 'remove'. That also matches
the language we use for packages in image customisation.

The existing breadcrumb does not always provide a link to the project
configuration page. When you are in the build history pages, you must go
back to the builds information first, and from there access the project
configuration. That feels very long.
Change the breadcrumb so that the project name item always provides a
link to the project configuration.

This patch:
* Changes the breadcrumb to provide access to either
the project builds or the project configuration, as
appropriate
* Changes the left navigation in the project configuration
to reflect the hierarchical relationship between the
basic configuration and all other configuration pages
* Changes the left navigation in the build history to bring
it in line with the changes in the project configuration
This way the breadcrumb explicitly exposes the hierarchy
of the application, which is its correct behaviour, making it
easier to move around within Toaster.

Make sure that we use the correct html entity
for the breadcrumb dividers, and remove the
'all builds' item from the history pages: all
breadcrumbs should now have the project name as
their first element, since the 'all builds' page
can be reached using the global naviation in the
top bar.

This patch removes the url-constructing calls to get the layer details
in favor of embedding the look-up URL in the JSON data on the

This allows further removal of the XHR-specific code for layer dependencies
in favor of REST calls to layer details data.

This patch refactors the ToasterTables to bring them in line
with REST principles -
- all table pages now support the "format=json" GET parameter
that returns the data in JSON format
- the tables themselves
This cleans up the URL namespace by aleviating the need to
have two URLS for each table (one for the template and one for
the data loading), and fixes minor things in the ToasterTable
implementation.

This is a URL refactoring needed to remove the inadvertent
usage of server-side user session in a REST-style API.
We move the parameters that were stored in the user session
to the URL, making navigation more robust.
This refactoring allows a clean (no 500 HTTP return codes) crawl
of the website following inside links.

We have multiple pages which have buttons to add and remove layers this
patch adds functionality to libtoaster to abstract this and implements
it in the pages affected. We handle loading and showing the dependencies
dialog here too and generating the notification messages.
Also implemented is using the selectmachine api from the projectapp to
avoid having to handle this in each page that allows selecting machines.
A small number of jshint issues, help text and the machine page name
have also been fixed.

A recent round of informal user feedback has revealed
that the term 'target' is quite problematic. For
all the users we spoke to the word refers to the
target arch. In Toaster, it refers to the software
you build.
This patch replaces the word 'target' with 'recipe'
across the Toaster interface. This is by no means
self-explanatory, but at least it cannot be confused
with target hardware, and it is also consistent with
the terminology we use in the analysis portion of
the interface.

Some URLs, although invalid on their own, are used in JS to
build valid page pointers. Previous patch removed two of these URLs,
breaking the display of several patches.
This patch re-adds these URLs with different names, and returns
400 Bad Request empty pages on them, which is consistent with the
intended usage of these URLs.

Labels for the 'all' pages don't really convey what's provided in them.
The team has suggested we add the word 'compatible' to them,
to make clear they will show all layers / targets / machines that
can be built with the version of the build system you are
using in a certain project. A link like 'view all targets'
becomes 'view all compatible targets'.

page should only show when there are more than 10 entries
in a table.

When you search for targets or machines in the layer details
page and your search returns no results, you should
see a 'show all' link that you can click to clear the
search and display all table entries.

In my struggle to ensure consistency in the format and content
of the notifications we show when you add and remove layers to
a project, I've:
* added the project name to the notifications
in the layer details page
* removed the 'Go to project configuration' link
from the notifications in the layer details page
This changes align the notifications we show in the layer
details page with the ones we show in the 'all' pages.

In the layer details page, change the message you see when
the number of targets or machines provided by a layer is
0, either because that's what's reported by a layer index
instance, or because Toaster does not have any information
about the layer.
The new message is more generic, in order to fit layers from
all layer sources.

Layer, recipe and package details pages have a right column
with additional information. This commit standardises the
formatting of the content in that right column across
all these pages by creating a new css class .item-info
in default.css

The layer details page should have the same layout as all
other detail pages (recipes, packages). For this to happen,
the basebuilddetailpage.html and baseprojectpage.html
templates should use the same layout, and so should the
layerdetails.html and recipe.html templates.
This patch also capitalises the string 'All layers' in the
breadcrumb of layerdetails.html as all other breadcrumb elements.

This commit adds the layer details page which shows the metadata for the
layer such as layer description, machines associated with the layer as well
as the targets provided.
If the layer is an imported layer this page also allows you to update
the layer's configuration.
>From this page you can add/remove the layer from the current project

We add new pages for the layer importing, layer details,
showing project builds and project configuration.
The pages are in read-only mode, but they're needed as
to be able to verify the quality of data in the system.
Write capabilities will be added in a subsequent patch.
