sanity.bbclass: improve the sanity check for PATH and BBPATH

Build fails if "./" is in the PATH

To reproduce the issue:

  $ export PATH="./:$PATH"
  $ make -C build-tools elfutils

  Error: ./ld: unrecognized option '--sysroot=/'
