Since we know that github archives which are automatically generated have a

Up to now, an openobex specific over-ride for ASNEEDED has been
provided by oe-core (from as-needed.inc). If ASNEEDED does need to be
over-ridden in order to build openobex it's not ideal that the
over-ride comes from a different layer so define it directly in the
meta-oe recipe.

WARNING:
Some of the context lines in patches were ignored. This can lead to incorrectly applied patches.
The context lines in the patches can be updated with devtool:
devtool modify <recipe>
devtool finish --force-patch-refresh <recipe> <layer_path>
Then the updated patches and the source tree (in devtool's workspace)
should be reviewed to make sure the patches apply in the correct place
and don't introduce duplicate lines (which can, and does happen
when some of the context is ignored). Further information:

According to the COPYING file in the top level of the hostapd source
tree, hostapd was re-licensed from dual BSD/GPLv2 to BSD only in
February 2012. This change has apparently gone unnoticed for the
past 6 years, but fix it now.
Also use pkg-config to find libnl headers (instead of hardcoding),
append to base do_configure (instead of over-riding), respect OE's
default CFLAGS (instead of ignoring) and make some minor formatting
tweaks to bring the recipe more in line with the OE Styleguide.

An earlier patch to update smstools3 to v3.1.21 dropped the RDEPENDS for
bash, which caused qc errors during packaging, since the example scripts
still used /bin/bash as the command executor. This patch updates the scripts
to use /bin/sh instead. No known bash-only syntax is present in the packaged
scripts and they run ok under Busybox.

The following improvements have been made over the recipe that was in
meta-intel-iot-middleware (a layer which is no longer actively
maintained):
* Upgrade to 1.2.0. The version number being used previously (3.1) was
bogus - I guess someone saw that it supported the MQTT *protocol*
version 3.1 and assumed that was the library version. Since we are
renaming it to paho-mqtt-c at the same time to distinguish it from
other Eclipse Paho MQTT library flavours, we don't need to bump PE.
* Fix SRC_URI since the repository has been moved
* Fix "No GNU_HASH in the elf binary" QA error
* Add notice.html and about.html to LIC_FILES_CHKSUM since they cover
licensing
* Add description, Signed-off-by and Upstream-Status to makefile.patch
* Set short description in SUMMARY
* Drop unnecessary custom do_compile - the default implementation
basically does the same thing
* Drop RDEPENDS on openssl - linking already ensures runtime
dependencies get set correctly
* Move DEPENDS further up

the configure fails as it tries to get some url from outside to build
the documentation.
Fix this problem by disabling building documentation.

* remove recipes which support only bluez4 and are blacklisted when
bluez5 is selected in DISTRO_FEATURES, if someone is still using
bluez4, then it can be restored in separate meta-bluez4 and
maintained by people using it.
* there are few recipes which support both bluez5 or bluez4 based on
selected DISTRO_FEATURES, these can stay in meta-oe repository, but
now people without bluez5 in DISTRO_FEATURES will need to add
meta-bluez4 layer to satisfy bluez4 dependency
