44571. Definitions
4458
4459"Adaptation" means a work based upon the Work, or upon the Work and other pre-existing
4460works, such as a translation, adaptation, derivative work, arrangement of music or

4462includes cinematographic adaptations or any other form in which the Work may be
4463recast, transformed, or adapted including in any form recognizably derived from the
4464original, except that a work that constitutes a Collection will not be considered an
4465Adaptation for the purpose of this License. For the avoidance of doubt, where the Work
4466is a musical work, performance or phonogram, the synchronization of the Work in
4467timed-relation with a moving image ("synching") will be considered an Adaptation for
4468the purpose of this License.
4469"Collection" means a collection of literary or artistic works, such as encyclopedias
4470and anthologies, or performances, phonograms or broadcasts, or other works or subject

4472selection and arrangement of their contents, constitute intellectual creations, in
4473which the Work is included in its entirety in unmodified form along with one or more
4474other contributions, each constituting separate and independent works in themselves,
4475which together are assembled into a collective whole. A work that constitutes a
4476Collection will not be considered an Adaptation (as defined above) for the purposes of
4477this License.
4478"Distribute" means to make available to the public the original and copies of the Work
4479or Adaptation, as appropriate, through sale or other transfer of ownership.

4481Work under the terms of this License.
4482"Original Author" means, in the case of a literary or artistic work, the individual,
4483individuals, entity or entities who created the Work or if no individual or entity can
4484be identified, the publisher; and in addition (i) in the case of a performance the

4491including without limitation any production in the literary, scientific and artistic
4492domain, whatever may be the mode or form of its expression including digital form,
4493such as a book, pamphlet and other writing; a lecture, address, sermon or other work
4494of the same nature; a dramatic or dramatico-musical work; a choreographic work or
4495entertainment in dumb show; a musical composition with or without words; a
4496cinematographic work to which are assimilated works expressed by a process analogous
4497to cinematography; a work of drawing, painting, architecture, sculpture, engraving or
4498lithography; a photographic work to which are assimilated works expressed by a process
4499analogous to photography; a work of applied art; an illustration, map, plan, sketch or
4500three-dimensional work relative to geography, topography, architecture or science; a
4501performance; a broadcast; a phonogram; a compilation of data to the extent it is
4502protected as a copyrightable work; or a work performed by a variety or circus
4503performer to the extent it is not otherwise considered a literary or artistic work.
4504"You" means an individual or entity exercising rights under this License who has not
4505previously violated the terms of this License with respect to the Work, or who has
4506received express permission from the Licensor to exercise rights under this License
4507despite a previous violation.
4508"Publicly Perform" means to perform public recitations of the Work and to communicate
4509to the public those public recitations, by any means or process, including by wire or
4510wireless means or public digital performances; to make available to the public Works

4512place individually chosen by them; to perform the Work to the public by any means or

4514by public digital performance; to broadcast and rebroadcast the Work by any means
4515including signs, sounds or images.
4516"Reproduce" means to make copies of the Work by any means including without limitation
4517by sound or visual recordings and the right of fixation and reproducing fixations of
4518the Work, including storage of a protected performance or phonogram in digital form or
4519other electronic medium.
45202. Fair Dealing Rights. Nothing in this License is intended to reduce, limit, or
4521restrict any uses free from copyright or rights arising from limitations or exceptions
4522that are provided for in connection with the copyright protection under copyright law
4523or other applicable laws.
4524
45253. License Grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, Licensor hereby
4526grants You a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual (for the duration of
4527the applicable copyright) license to exercise the rights in the Work as stated below:
4528
4529to Reproduce the Work, to incorporate the Work into one or more Collections, and to
4530Reproduce the Work as incorporated in the Collections;
4531to create and Reproduce Adaptations provided that any such Adaptation, including any
4532translation in any medium, takes reasonable steps to clearly label, demarcate or
4533otherwise identify that changes were made to the original Work. For example, a
4534translation could be marked "The original work was translated from English to
4535Spanish," or a modification could indicate "The original work has been modified.";
4536to Distribute and Publicly Perform the Work including as incorporated in Collections;
4537and,
4538to Distribute and Publicly Perform Adaptations.
4539For the avoidance of doubt:
4540
4541Non-waivable Compulsory License Schemes. In those jurisdictions in which the right to
4542collect royalties through any statutory or compulsory licensing scheme cannot be
4543waived, the Licensor reserves the exclusive right to collect such royalties for any
4544exercise by You of the rights granted under this License;
4545Waivable Compulsory License Schemes. In those jurisdictions in which the right to
4546collect royalties through any statutory or compulsory licensing scheme can be waived,
4547the Licensor waives the exclusive right to collect such royalties for any exercise by
4548You of the rights granted under this License; and,
4549Voluntary License Schemes. The Licensor waives the right to collect royalties, whether
4550individually or, in the event that the Licensor is a member of a collecting society
4551that administers voluntary licensing schemes, via that society, from any exercise by
4552You of the rights granted under this License.
4553The above rights may be exercised in all media and formats whether now known or
4554hereafter devised. The above rights include the right to make such modifications as
4555are technically necessary to exercise the rights in other media and formats. Subject
4556to Section 8(f), all rights not expressly granted by Licensor are hereby reserved.
4557
45584. Restrictions. The license granted in Section 3 above is expressly made subject to
4559and limited by the following restrictions:
4560
4561You may Distribute or Publicly Perform the Work only under the terms of this License.
4562You must include a copy of, or the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) for, this License
4563with every copy of the Work You Distribute or Publicly Perform. You may not offer or
4564impose any terms on the Work that restrict the terms of this License or the ability of
4565the recipient of the Work to exercise the rights granted to that recipient under the
4566terms of the License. You may not sublicense the Work. You must keep intact all
4567notices that refer to this License and to the disclaimer of warranties with every copy
4568of the Work You Distribute or Publicly Perform. When You Distribute or Publicly
4569Perform the Work, You may not impose any effective technological measures on the Work
4570that restrict the ability of a recipient of the Work from You to exercise the rights
4571granted to that recipient under the terms of the License. This Section 4(a) applies to
4572the Work as incorporated in a Collection, but this does not require the Collection
4573apart from the Work itself to be made subject to the terms of this License. If You
4574create a Collection, upon notice from any Licensor You must, to the extent
4575practicable, remove from the Collection any credit as required by Section 4(b), as
4576requested. If You create an Adaptation, upon notice from any Licensor You must, to the
4577extent practicable, remove from the Adaptation any credit as required by Section 4(b),
4578as requested.
4579If You Distribute, or Publicly Perform the Work or any Adaptations or Collections, You
4580must, unless a request has been made pursuant to Section 4(a), keep intact all
4581copyright notices for the Work and provide, reasonable to the medium or means You are
4582utilizing: (i) the name of the Original Author (or pseudonym, if applicable) if
4583supplied, and/or if the Original Author and/or Licensor designate another party or
4584parties (e.g., a sponsor institute, publishing entity, journal) for attribution
4585("Attribution Parties") in Licensor`s copyright notice, terms of service or by other
4586reasonable means, the name of such party or parties; (ii) the title of the Work if
4587supplied; (iii) to the extent reasonably practicable, the URI, if any, that Licensor
4588specifies to be associated with the Work, unless such URI does not refer to the
4589copyright notice or licensing information for the Work; and (iv) , consistent with
4590Section 3(b), in the case of an Adaptation, a credit identifying the use of the Work
4591in the Adaptation (e.g., "French translation of the Work by Original Author," or
4592"Screenplay based on original Work by Original Author"). The credit required by this
4593Section 4 (b) may be implemented in any reasonable manner; provided, however, that in
4594the case of a Adaptation or Collection, at a minimum such credit will appear, if a
4595credit for all contributing authors of the Adaptation or Collection appears, then as
4596part of these credits and in a manner at least as prominent as the credits for the
4597other contributing authors. For the avoidance of doubt, You may only use the credit
4598required by this Section for the purpose of attribution in the manner set out above
4599and, by exercising Your rights under this License, You may not implicitly or
4600explicitly assert or imply any connection with, sponsorship or endorsement by the
4601Original Author, Licensor and/or Attribution Parties, as appropriate, of You or Your
4602use of the Work, without the separate, express prior written permission of the
4603Original Author, Licensor and/or Attribution Parties.
4604Except as otherwise agreed in writing by the Licensor or as may be otherwise permitted
4605by applicable law, if You Reproduce, Distribute or Publicly Perform the Work either by
4606itself or as part of any Adaptations or Collections, You must not distort, mutilate,
4607modify or take other derogatory action in relation to the Work which would be
4608prejudicial to the Original Author`s honor or reputation. Licensor agrees that in
4609those jurisdictions (e.g. Japan), in which any exercise of the right granted in
4610Section 3(b) of this License (the right to make Adaptations) would be deemed to be a
4611distortion, mutilation, modification or other derogatory action prejudicial to the
4612Original Author`s honor and reputation, the Licensor will waive or not assert, as
4613appropriate, this Section, to the fullest extent permitted by the applicable national
4614law, to enable You to reasonably exercise Your right under Section 3(b) of this
4615License (right to make Adaptations) but not otherwise.
46165. Representations, Warranties and Disclaimer
4617
4618UNLESS OTHERWISE MUTUALLY AGREED TO BY THE PARTIES IN WRITING, LICENSOR OFFERS THE
4619WORK AS-IS AND MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND CONCERNING THE WORK,
4620EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF
4621TITLE, MERCHANTIBILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NONINFRINGEMENT, OR THE
4622ABSENCE OF LATENT OR OTHER DEFECTS, ACCURACY, OR THE PRESENCE OF ABSENCE OF ERRORS,
4623WHETHER OR NOT DISCOVERABLE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED
4624WARRANTIES, SO SUCH EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
4625
46266. Limitation on Liability. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO
4627EVENT WILL LICENSOR BE LIABLE TO YOU ON ANY LEGAL THEORY FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL,
4628CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THIS LICENSE OR THE USE OF
4629THE WORK, EVEN IF LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
4630
46317. Termination
4632
4633This License and the rights granted hereunder will terminate automatically upon any
4634breach by You of the terms of this License. Individuals or entities who have received
4635Adaptations or Collections from You under this License, however, will not have their
4636licenses terminated provided such individuals or entities remain in full compliance
4637with those licenses. Sections 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8 will survive any termination of
4638this License.
4639Subject to the above terms and conditions, the license granted here is perpetual (for
4640the duration of the applicable copyright in the Work). Notwithstanding the above,
4641Licensor reserves the right to release the Work under different license terms or to
4642stop distributing the Work at any time; provided, however that any such election will
4643not serve to withdraw this License (or any other license that has been, or is required
4644to be, granted under the terms of this License), and this License will continue in
4645full force and effect unless terminated as stated above.
46468. Miscellaneous
4647
4648Each time You Distribute or Publicly Perform the Work or a Collection, the Licensor
4649offers to the recipient a license to the Work on the same terms and conditions as the
4650license granted to You under this License.
4651Each time You Distribute or Publicly Perform an Adaptation, Licensor offers to the
4652recipient a license to the original Work on the same terms and conditions as the
4653license granted to You under this License.
4654If any provision of this License is invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, it
4655shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the terms of this
4656License, and without further action by the parties to this agreement, such provision
4657shall be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make such provision valid and
4658enforceable.
4659No term or provision of this License shall be deemed waived and no breach consented to
4660unless such waiver or consent shall be in writing and signed by the party to be
4661charged with such waiver or consent.
4662This License constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the
4663Work licensed here. There are no understandings, agreements or representations with
4664respect to the Work not specified here. Licensor shall not be bound by any additional
4665provisions that may appear in any communication from You. This License may not be
4666modified without the mutual written agreement of the Licensor and You.
4667The rights granted under, and the subject matter referenced, in this License were
4668drafted utilizing the terminology of the Berne Convention for the Protection of
4669Literary and Artistic Works (as amended on September 28, 1979), the Rome Convention of
46701961, the WIPO Copyright Treaty of 1996, the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty
4671of 1996 and the Universal Copyright Convention (as revised on July 24, 1971). These
4672rights and subject matter take effect in the relevant jurisdiction in which the
4673License terms are sought to be enforced according to the corresponding provisions of
4674the implementation of those treaty provisions in the applicable national law. If the
4675standard suite of rights granted under applicable copyright law includes additional
4676rights not granted under this License, such additional rights are deemed to be
4677included in the License; this License is not intended to restrict the license of any
4678rights under applicable law.
4679Creative Commons Notice
4680
4681Creative Commons is not a party to this License, and makes no warranty whatsoever in
4682connection with the Work. Creative Commons will not be liable to You or any party on
4683any legal theory for any damages whatsoever, including without limitation any general,
4684special, incidental or consequential damages arising in connection to this license.
4685Notwithstanding the foregoing two (2) sentences, if Creative Commons has expressly
4686identified itself as the Licensor hereunder, it shall have all rights and obligations
4687of Licensor.
4688
4689Except for the limited purpose of indicating to the public that the Work is licensed

4748("AGREEMENT"). ANY USE, REPRODUCTION OR DISTRIBUTION OF THE PROGRAM CONSTITUTES
4749RECIPIENT`S ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT.
4750
47511. DEFINITIONS
4752
4753"Contribution" means:
4754
4755a) in the case of the initial Contributor, the initial code and documentation
4756distributed under this Agreement, and
4757b) in the case of each subsequent Contributor:
4758i) changes to the Program, and
4759ii) additions to the Program;
4760where such changes and/or additions to the Program originate from and are distributed
4761by that particular Contributor. A Contribution `originates` from a Contributor if it
4762was added to the Program by such Contributor itself or anyone acting on such
4763Contributor`s behalf. Contributions do not include additions to the Program which: (i)
4764are separate modules of software distributed in conjunction with the Program under
4765their own license agreement, and (ii) are not derivative works of the Program.
4766"Contributor" means any person or entity that distributes the Program.
4767
4768"Licensed Patents" mean patent claims licensable by a Contributor which are
4769necessarily infringed by the use or sale of its Contribution alone or when combined
4770with the Program.
4771
4772"Program" means the Contributions distributed in accordance with this Agreement.
4773
4774"Recipient" means anyone who receives the Program under this Agreement, including all
4775Contributors.
4776
47772. GRANT OF RIGHTS
4778
4779a) Subject to the terms of this Agreement, each Contributor hereby grants Recipient a
4780non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free copyright license to reproduce, prepare
4781derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, distribute and sublicense the
4782Contribution of such Contributor, if any, and such derivative works, in source code
4783and object code form.
4784b) Subject to the terms of this Agreement, each Contributor hereby grants Recipient a
4785non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free patent license under Licensed Patents to make,
4786use, sell, offer to sell, import and otherwise transfer the Contribution of such
4787Contributor, if any, in source code and object code form. This patent license shall
4788apply to the combination of the Contribution and the Program if, at the time the
4789Contribution is added by the Contributor, such addition of the Contribution causes
4790such combination to be covered by the Licensed Patents. The patent license shall not
4791apply to any other combinations which include the Contribution. No hardware per se is
4792licensed hereunder.
4793c) Recipient understands that although each Contributor grants the licenses to its
4794Contributions set forth herein, no assurances are provided by any Contributor that the
4795Program does not infringe the patent or other intellectual property rights of any
4796other entity. Each Contributor disclaims any liability to Recipient for claims brought
4797by any other entity based on infringement of intellectual property rights or
4798otherwise. As a condition to exercising the rights and licenses granted hereunder,
4799each Recipient hereby assumes sole responsibility to secure any other intellectual
4800property rights needed, if any. For example, if a third party patent license is
4801required to allow Recipient to distribute the Program, it is Recipient`s
4802responsibility to acquire that license before distributing the Program.
4803d) Each Contributor represents that to its knowledge it has sufficient copyright
4804rights in its Contribution, if any, to grant the copyright license set forth in this
4805Agreement.
48063. REQUIREMENTS
4807
4808A Contributor may choose to distribute the Program in object code form under its own
4809license agreement, provided that:
4810
4811a) it complies with the terms and conditions of this Agreement; and
4812b) its license agreement:
4813i) effectively disclaims on behalf of all Contributors all warranties and conditions,
4814express and implied, including warranties or conditions of title and non-infringement,
4815and implied warranties or conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular
4816purpose;
4817ii) effectively excludes on behalf of all Contributors all liability for damages,
4818including direct, indirect, special, incidental and consequential damages, such as
4819lost profits;
4820iii) states that any provisions which differ from this Agreement are offered by that
4821Contributor alone and not by any other party; and
4822iv) states that source code for the Program is available from such Contributor, and
4823informs licensees how to obtain it in a reasonable manner on or through a medium
4824customarily used for software exchange.
4825When the Program is made available in source code form:
4826
4827a) it must be made available under this Agreement; and
4828b) a copy of this Agreement must be included with each copy of the Program.
4829Contributors may not remove or alter any copyright notices contained within the
4830Program.
4831
4832Each Contributor must identify itself as the originator of its Contribution, if any,
4833in a manner that reasonably allows subsequent Recipients to identify the originator of
4834the Contribution.
4835
48364. COMMERCIAL DISTRIBUTION
4837
4838Commercial distributors of software may accept certain responsibilities with respect
4839to end users, business partners and the like. While this license is intended to
4840facilitate the commercial use of the Program, the Contributor who includes the Program
4841in a commercial product offering should do so in a manner which does not create
4842potential liability for other Contributors. Therefore, if a Contributor includes the
4843Program in a commercial product offering, such Contributor ("Commercial Contributor")
4844hereby agrees to defend and indemnify every other Contributor ("Indemnified
4845Contributor") against any losses, damages and costs (collectively "Losses") arising
4846from claims, lawsuits and other legal actions brought by a third party against the
4847Indemnified Contributor to the extent caused by the acts or omissions of such
4848Commercial Contributor in connection with its distribution of the Program in a
4849commercial product offering. The obligations in this section do not apply to any
4850claims or Losses relating to any actual or alleged intellectual property infringement.
4851In order to qualify, an Indemnified Contributor must: a) promptly notify the
4852Commercial Contributor in writing of such claim, and b) allow the Commercial
4853Contributor to control, and cooperate with the Commercial Contributor in, the defense
4854and any related settlement negotiations. The Indemnified Contributor may participate
4855in any such claim at its own expense.
4856
4857For example, a Contributor might include the Program in a commercial product offering,
4858Product X. That Contributor is then a Commercial Contributor. If that Commercial
4859Contributor then makes performance claims, or offers warranties related to Product X,
4860those performance claims and warranties are such Commercial Contributor`s
4861responsibility alone. Under this section, the Commercial Contributor would have to
4862defend claims against the other Contributors related to those performance claims and
4863warranties, and if a court requires any other Contributor to pay any damages as a
4864result, the Commercial Contributor must pay those damages.
4865
48665. NO WARRANTY
4867
4868EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT, THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS"
4869BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
4870INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF TITLE,
4871NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Each Recipient
4872is solely responsible for determining the appropriateness of using and distributing
4873the Program and assumes all risks associated with its exercise of rights under this
4874Agreement , including but not limited to the risks and costs of program errors,
4875compliance with applicable laws, damage to or loss of data, programs or equipment, and
4876unavailability or interruption of operations.
4877
48786. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
4879
4880EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT, NEITHER RECIPIENT NOR ANY
4881CONTRIBUTORS SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
4882EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROFITS),
4883HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY,
4884OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OR
4885DISTRIBUTION OF THE PROGRAM OR THE EXERCISE OF ANY RIGHTS GRANTED HEREUNDER, EVEN IF
4886ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
4887
48887. GENERAL
4889
4890If any provision of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable under applicable law,
4891it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the terms of
4892this Agreement, and without further action by the parties hereto, such provision shall
4893be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make such provision valid and
4894enforceable.
4895
4896If Recipient institutes patent litigation against any entity (including a cross-claim
4897or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Program itself (excluding combinations
4898of the Program with other software or hardware) infringes such Recipient`s patent(s),
4899then such Recipient`s rights granted under Section 2(b) shall terminate as of the date
4900such litigation is filed.
4901
4902All Recipient`s rights under this Agreement shall terminate if it fails to comply with
4903any of the material terms or conditions of this Agreement and does not cure such
4904failure in a reasonable period of time after becoming aware of such noncompliance. If
4905all Recipient`s rights under this Agreement terminate, Recipient agrees to cease use
4906and distribution of the Program as soon as reasonably practicable. However,
4907Recipient`s obligations under this Agreement and any licenses granted by Recipient
4908relating to the Program shall continue and survive.
4909
4910Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute copies of this Agreement, but in order to
4911avoid inconsistency the Agreement is copyrighted and may only be modified in the
4912following manner. The Agreement Steward reserves the right to publish new versions
4913(including revisions) of this Agreement from time to time. No one other than the
4914Agreement Steward has the right to modify this Agreement. The Eclipse Foundation is
4915the initial Agreement Steward. The Eclipse Foundation may assign the responsibility to
4916serve as the Agreement Steward to a suitable separate entity. Each new version of the
4917Agreement will be given a distinguishing version number. The Program (including
4918Contributions) may always be distributed subject to the version of the Agreement under
4919which it was received. In addition, after a new version of the Agreement is published,
4920Contributor may elect to distribute the Program (including its Contributions) under
4921the new version. Except as expressly stated in Sections 2(a) and 2(b) above, Recipient
4922receives no rights or licenses to the intellectual property of any Contributor under
4923this Agreement, whether expressly, by implication, estoppel or otherwise. All rights
4924in the Program not expressly granted under this Agreement are reserved.
4925
4926This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York and the intellectual
4927property laws of the United States of America. No party to this Agreement will bring a
4928legal action under this Agreement more than one year after the cause of action arose.
4929Each party waives its rights to a jury trial in any resulting litigation.

5151 51 Franklin St, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1301 USA
5152 Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies
5153 of this license document, but changing it is not allowed.
5154
5155
51560. PREAMBLE
5157
5158The purpose of this License is to make a manual, textbook, or other
5159functional and useful document "free" in the sense of freedom: to
5160assure everyone the effective freedom to copy and redistribute it,
5161with or without modifying it, either commercially or noncommercially.
5162Secondarily, this License preserves for the author and publisher a way
5163to get credit for their work, while not being considered responsible
5164for modifications made by others.
5165
5166This License is a kind of "copyleft", which means that derivative
5167works of the document must themselves be free in the same sense. It
5168complements the GNU General Public License, which is a copyleft
5169license designed for free software.
5170
5171We have designed this License in order to use it for manuals for free
5172software, because free software needs free documentation: a free
5173program should come with manuals providing the same freedoms that the
5174software does. But this License is not limited to software manuals;
5175it can be used for any textual work, regardless of subject matter or
5176whether it is published as a printed book. We recommend this License
5177principally for works whose purpose is instruction or reference.
5178
5179
51801. APPLICABILITY AND DEFINITIONS
5181
5182This License applies to any manual or other work, in any medium, that
5183contains a notice placed by the copyright holder saying it can be
5184distributed under the terms of this License. Such a notice grants a
5185world-wide, royalty-free license, unlimited in duration, to use that
5186work under the conditions stated herein. The "Document", below,
5187refers to any such manual or work. Any member of the public is a
5188licensee, and is addressed as "you". You accept the license if you
5189copy, modify or distribute the work in a way requiring permission
5190under copyright law.
5191
5192A "Modified Version" of the Document means any work containing the
5193Document or a portion of it, either copied verbatim, or with
5194modifications and/or translated into another language.
5195
5196A "Secondary Section" is a named appendix or a front-matter section of
5197the Document that deals exclusively with the relationship of the
5198publishers or authors of the Document to the Document`s overall subject
5199(or to related matters) and contains nothing that could fall directly
5200within that overall subject. (Thus, if the Document is in part a
5201textbook of mathematics, a Secondary Section may not explain any
5202mathematics.) The relationship could be a matter of historical
5203connection with the subject or with related matters, or of legal,
5204commercial, philosophical, ethical or political position regarding
5205them.
5206
5207The "Invariant Sections" are certain Secondary Sections whose titles
5208are designated, as being those of Invariant Sections, in the notice
5209that says that the Document is released under this License. If a
5210section does not fit the above definition of Secondary then it is not
5211allowed to be designated as Invariant. The Document may contain zero
5212Invariant Sections. If the Document does not identify any Invariant
5213Sections then there are none.
5214
5215The "Cover Texts" are certain short passages of text that are listed,
5216as Front-Cover Texts or Back-Cover Texts, in the notice that says that
5217the Document is released under this License. A Front-Cover Text may
5218be at most 5 words, and a Back-Cover Text may be at most 25 words.
5219
5220A "Transparent" copy of the Document means a machine-readable copy,
5221represented in a format whose specification is available to the
5222general public, that is suitable for revising the document
5223straightforwardly with generic text editors or (for images composed of
5224pixels) generic paint programs or (for drawings) some widely available
5225drawing editor, and that is suitable for input to text formatters or
5226for automatic translation to a variety of formats suitable for input
5227to text formatters. A copy made in an otherwise Transparent file
5228format whose markup, or absence of markup, has been arranged to thwart
5229or discourage subsequent modification by readers is not Transparent.
5230An image format is not Transparent if used for any substantial amount
5231of text. A copy that is not "Transparent" is called "Opaque".
5232
5233Examples of suitable formats for Transparent copies include plain
5234ASCII without markup, Texinfo input format, LaTeX input format, SGML
5235or XML using a publicly available DTD, and standard-conforming simple
5236HTML, PostScript or PDF designed for human modification. Examples of
5237transparent image formats include PNG, XCF and JPG. Opaque formats
5238include proprietary formats that can be read and edited only by
5239proprietary word processors, SGML or XML for which the DTD and/or
5240processing tools are not generally available, and the
5241machine-generated HTML, PostScript or PDF produced by some word
5242processors for output purposes only.
5243
5244The "Title Page" means, for a printed book, the title page itself,
5245plus such following pages as are needed to hold, legibly, the material
5246this License requires to appear in the title page. For works in
5247formats which do not have any title page as such, "Title Page" means
5248the text near the most prominent appearance of the work`s title,
5249preceding the beginning of the body of the text.
5250
5251A section "Entitled XYZ" means a named subunit of the Document whose
5252title either is precisely XYZ or contains XYZ in parentheses following
5253text that translates XYZ in another language. (Here XYZ stands for a
5254specific section name mentioned below, such as "Acknowledgements",
5255"Dedications", "Endorsements", or "History".) To "Preserve the Title"
5256of such a section when you modify the Document means that it remains a
5257section "Entitled XYZ" according to this definition.
5258
5259The Document may include Warranty Disclaimers next to the notice which
5260states that this License applies to the Document. These Warranty
5261Disclaimers are considered to be included by reference in this
5262License, but only as regards disclaiming warranties: any other
5263implication that these Warranty Disclaimers may have is void and has
5264no effect on the meaning of this License.
5265
5266
52672. VERBATIM COPYING
5268
5269You may copy and distribute the Document in any medium, either
5270commercially or noncommercially, provided that this License, the
5271copyright notices, and the license notice saying this License applies
5272to the Document are reproduced in all copies, and that you add no other
5273conditions whatsoever to those of this License. You may not use
5274technical measures to obstruct or control the reading or further
5275copying of the copies you make or distribute. However, you may accept
5276compensation in exchange for copies. If you distribute a large enough
5277number of copies you must also follow the conditions in section 3.
5278
5279You may also lend copies, under the same conditions stated above, and
5280you may publicly display copies.
5281
5282
52833. COPYING IN QUANTITY
5284
5285If you publish printed copies (or copies in media that commonly have
5286printed covers) of the Document, numbering more than 100, and the
5287Document`s license notice requires Cover Texts, you must enclose the
5288copies in covers that carry, clearly and legibly, all these Cover
5289Texts: Front-Cover Texts on the front cover, and Back-Cover Texts on
5290the back cover. Both covers must also clearly and legibly identify
5291you as the publisher of these copies. The front cover must present
5292the full title with all words of the title equally prominent and
5293visible. You may add other material on the covers in addition.
5294Copying with changes limited to the covers, as long as they preserve
5295the title of the Document and satisfy these conditions, can be treated
5296as verbatim copying in other respects.
5297
5298If the required texts for either cover are too voluminous to fit
5299legibly, you should put the first ones listed (as many as fit
5300reasonably) on the actual cover, and continue the rest onto adjacent
5301pages.
5302
5303If you publish or distribute Opaque copies of the Document numbering
5304more than 100, you must either include a machine-readable Transparent
5305copy along with each Opaque copy, or state in or with each Opaque copy
5306a computer-network location from which the general network-using
5307public has access to download using public-standard network protocols
5308a complete Transparent copy of the Document, free of added material.
5309If you use the latter option, you must take reasonably prudent steps,
5310when you begin distribution of Opaque copies in quantity, to ensure
5311that this Transparent copy will remain thus accessible at the stated
5312location until at least one year after the last time you distribute an
5313Opaque copy (directly or through your agents or retailers) of that
5314edition to the public.
5315
5316It is requested, but not required, that you contact the authors of the
5317Document well before redistributing any large number of copies, to give
5318them a chance to provide you with an updated version of the Document.
5319
5320
53214. MODIFICATIONS
5322
5323You may copy and distribute a Modified Version of the Document under
5324the conditions of sections 2 and 3 above, provided that you release
5325the Modified Version under precisely this License, with the Modified
5326Version filling the role of the Document, thus licensing distribution
5327and modification of the Modified Version to whoever possesses a copy
5328of it. In addition, you must do these things in the Modified Version:
5329
5330A. Use in the Title Page (and on the covers, if any) a title distinct
5331 from that of the Document, and from those of previous versions
5332 (which should, if there were any, be listed in the History section
5333 of the Document). You may use the same title as a previous version
5334 if the original publisher of that version gives permission.
5335B. List on the Title Page, as authors, one or more persons or entities
5336 responsible for authorship of the modifications in the Modified
5337 Version, together with at least five of the principal authors of the
5338 Document (all of its principal authors, if it has fewer than five),
5339 unless they release you from this requirement.
5340C. State on the Title page the name of the publisher of the
5341 Modified Version, as the publisher.
5342D. Preserve all the copyright notices of the Document.
5343E. Add an appropriate copyright notice for your modifications
5344 adjacent to the other copyright notices.
5345F. Include, immediately after the copyright notices, a license notice
5346 giving the public permission to use the Modified Version under the
5347 terms of this License, in the form shown in the Addendum below.
5348G. Preserve in that license notice the full lists of Invariant Sections
5349 and required Cover Texts given in the Document`s license notice.
5350H. Include an unaltered copy of this License.
5351I. Preserve the section Entitled "History", Preserve its Title, and add
5352 to it an item stating at least the title, year, new authors, and
5353 publisher of the Modified Version as given on the Title Page. If
5354 there is no section Entitled "History" in the Document, create one
5355 stating the title, year, authors, and publisher of the Document as
5356 given on its Title Page, then add an item describing the Modified
5357 Version as stated in the previous sentence.
5358J. Preserve the network location, if any, given in the Document for
5359 public access to a Transparent copy of the Document, and likewise
5360 the network locations given in the Document for previous versions
5361 it was based on. These may be placed in the "History" section.
5362 You may omit a network location for a work that was published at
5363 least four years before the Document itself, or if the original
5364 publisher of the version it refers to gives permission.
5365K. For any section Entitled "Acknowledgements" or "Dedications",
5366 Preserve the Title of the section, and preserve in the section all
5367 the substance and tone of each of the contributor acknowledgements
5368 and/or dedications given therein.
5369L. Preserve all the Invariant Sections of the Document,
5370 unaltered in their text and in their titles. Section numbers
5371 or the equivalent are not considered part of the section titles.
5372M. Delete any section Entitled "Endorsements". Such a section
5373 may not be included in the Modified Version.
5374N. Do not retitle any existing section to be Entitled "Endorsements"
5375 or to conflict in title with any Invariant Section.
5376O. Preserve any Warranty Disclaimers.
5377
5378If the Modified Version includes new front-matter sections or
5379appendices that qualify as Secondary Sections and contain no material
5380copied from the Document, you may at your option designate some or all
5381of these sections as invariant. To do this, add their titles to the
5382list of Invariant Sections in the Modified Version`s license notice.
5383These titles must be distinct from any other section titles.
5384
5385You may add a section Entitled "Endorsements", provided it contains
5386nothing but endorsements of your Modified Version by various
5387parties--for example, statements of peer review or that the text has
5388been approved by an organization as the authoritative definition of a
5389standard.
5390
5391You may add a passage of up to five words as a Front-Cover Text, and a
5392passage of up to 25 words as a Back-Cover Text, to the end of the list
5393of Cover Texts in the Modified Version. Only one passage of
5394Front-Cover Text and one of Back-Cover Text may be added by (or
5395through arrangements made by) any one entity. If the Document already
5396includes a cover text for the same cover, previously added by you or
5397by arrangement made by the same entity you are acting on behalf of,
5398you may not add another; but you may replace the old one, on explicit
5399permission from the previous publisher that added the old one.
5400
5401The author(s) and publisher(s) of the Document do not by this License
5402give permission to use their names for publicity for or to assert or
5403imply endorsement of any Modified Version.
5404
5405
54065. COMBINING DOCUMENTS
5407
5408You may combine the Document with other documents released under this
5409License, under the terms defined in section 4 above for modified
5410versions, provided that you include in the combination all of the
5411Invariant Sections of all of the original documents, unmodified, and
5412list them all as Invariant Sections of your combined work in its
5413license notice, and that you preserve all their Warranty Disclaimers.
5414
5415The combined work need only contain one copy of this License, and
5416multiple identical Invariant Sections may be replaced with a single
5417copy. If there are multiple Invariant Sections with the same name but
5418different contents, make the title of each such section unique by
5419adding at the end of it, in parentheses, the name of the original
5420author or publisher of that section if known, or else a unique number.
5421Make the same adjustment to the section titles in the list of
5422Invariant Sections in the license notice of the combined work.
5423
5424In the combination, you must combine any sections Entitled "History"
5425in the various original documents, forming one section Entitled
5426"History"; likewise combine any sections Entitled "Acknowledgements",
5427and any sections Entitled "Dedications". You must delete all sections
5428Entitled "Endorsements".
5429
5430
54316. COLLECTIONS OF DOCUMENTS
5432
5433You may make a collection consisting of the Document and other documents
5434released under this License, and replace the individual copies of this
5435License in the various documents with a single copy that is included in
5436the collection, provided that you follow the rules of this License for
5437verbatim copying of each of the documents in all other respects.
5438
5439You may extract a single document from such a collection, and distribute
5440it individually under this License, provided you insert a copy of this
5441License into the extracted document, and follow this License in all
5442other respects regarding verbatim copying of that document.
5443
5444
54457. AGGREGATION WITH INDEPENDENT WORKS
5446
5447A compilation of the Document or its derivatives with other separate
5448and independent documents or works, in or on a volume of a storage or
5449distribution medium, is called an "aggregate" if the copyright
5450resulting from the compilation is not used to limit the legal rights
5451of the compilation`s users beyond what the individual works permit.
5452When the Document is included in an aggregate, this License does not
5453apply to the other works in the aggregate which are not themselves
5454derivative works of the Document.
5455
5456If the Cover Text requirement of section 3 is applicable to these
5457copies of the Document, then if the Document is less than one half of
5458the entire aggregate, the Document`s Cover Texts may be placed on
5459covers that bracket the Document within the aggregate, or the
5460electronic equivalent of covers if the Document is in electronic form.
5461Otherwise they must appear on printed covers that bracket the whole
5462aggregate.
5463
5464
54658. TRANSLATION
5466
5467Translation is considered a kind of modification, so you may
5468distribute translations of the Document under the terms of section 4.
5469Replacing Invariant Sections with translations requires special
5470permission from their copyright holders, but you may include
5471translations of some or all Invariant Sections in addition to the
5472original versions of these Invariant Sections. You may include a
5473translation of this License, and all the license notices in the
5474Document, and any Warranty Disclaimers, provided that you also include
5475the original English version of this License and the original versions
5476of those notices and disclaimers. In case of a disagreement between
5477the translation and the original version of this License or a notice
5478or disclaimer, the original version will prevail.
5479
5480If a section in the Document is Entitled "Acknowledgements",
5481"Dedications", or "History", the requirement (section 4) to Preserve
5482its Title (section 1) will typically require changing the actual
5483title.
5484
5485
54869. TERMINATION
5487
5488You may not copy, modify, sublicense, or distribute the Document except
5489as expressly provided for under this License. Any other attempt to
5490copy, modify, sublicense or distribute the Document is void, and will
5491automatically terminate your rights under this License. However,
5492parties who have received copies, or rights, from you under this
5493License will not have their licenses terminated so long as such
5494parties remain in full compliance.
5495
5496
549710. FUTURE REVISIONS OF THIS LICENSE
5498
5499The Free Software Foundation may publish new, revised versions
5500of the GNU Free Documentation License from time to time. Such new
5501versions will be similar in spirit to the present version, but may
5502differ in detail to address new problems or concerns. See
5503http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/.
5504
5505Each version of the License is given a distinguishing version number.
5506If the Document specifies that a particular numbered version of this
5507License "or any later version" applies to it, you have the option of
5508following the terms and conditions either of that specified version or
5509of any later version that has been published (not as a draft) by the
5510Free Software Foundation. If the Document does not specify a version
5511number of this License, you may choose any version ever published (not
5512as a draft) by the Free Software Foundation.
5513
5514
5515ADDENDUM: How to use this License for your documents
5516
5517To use this License in a document you have written, include a copy of
5518the License in the document and put the following copyright and
5519license notices just after the title page:
5520
5521 Copyright (c) YEAR YOUR NAME.
5522 Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this document
5523 under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2
5524 or any later version published by the Free Software Foundation;
5525 with no Invariant Sections, no Front-Cover Texts, and no Back-Cover Texts.
5526 A copy of the license is included in the section entitled "GNU
5527 Free Documentation License".
5528
5529If you have Invariant Sections, Front-Cover Texts and Back-Cover Texts,
5530replace the "with...Texts." line with this:
5531
5532 with the Invariant Sections being LIST THEIR TITLES, with the
5533 Front-Cover Texts being LIST, and with the Back-Cover Texts being LIST.
5534
5535If you have Invariant Sections without Cover Texts, or some other
5536combination of the three, merge those two alternatives to suit the
5537situation.
5538
5539If your document contains nontrivial examples of program code, we
5540recommend releasing these examples in parallel under your choice of
5541free software license, such as the GNU General Public License,
5542to permit their use in free software.

5559 Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies
5560 of this license document, but changing it is not allowed.
5561
55620. PREAMBLE
5563
5564The purpose of this License is to make a manual, textbook, or other
5565functional and useful document "free" in the sense of freedom: to
5566assure everyone the effective freedom to copy and redistribute it,
5567with or without modifying it, either commercially or noncommercially.
5568Secondarily, this License preserves for the author and publisher a way
5569to get credit for their work, while not being considered responsible
5570for modifications made by others.
5571
5572This License is a kind of "copyleft", which means that derivative
5573works of the document must themselves be free in the same sense. It
5574complements the GNU General Public License, which is a copyleft
5575license designed for free software.
5576
5577We have designed this License in order to use it for manuals for free
5578software, because free software needs free documentation: a free
5579program should come with manuals providing the same freedoms that the
5580software does. But this License is not limited to software manuals;
5581it can be used for any textual work, regardless of subject matter or
5582whether it is published as a printed book. We recommend this License
5583principally for works whose purpose is instruction or reference.
5584
5585
55861. APPLICABILITY AND DEFINITIONS
5587
5588This License applies to any manual or other work, in any medium, that
5589contains a notice placed by the copyright holder saying it can be
5590distributed under the terms of this License. Such a notice grants a
5591world-wide, royalty-free license, unlimited in duration, to use that
5592work under the conditions stated herein. The "Document", below,
5593refers to any such manual or work. Any member of the public is a
5594licensee, and is addressed as "you". You accept the license if you
5595copy, modify or distribute the work in a way requiring permission
5596under copyright law.
5597
5598A "Modified Version" of the Document means any work containing the
5599Document or a portion of it, either copied verbatim, or with
5600modifications and/or translated into another language.
5601
5602A "Secondary Section" is a named appendix or a front-matter section of
5603the Document that deals exclusively with the relationship of the
5604publishers or authors of the Document to the Document`s overall
5605subject (or to related matters) and contains nothing that could fall
5606directly within that overall subject. (Thus, if the Document is in
5607part a textbook of mathematics, a Secondary Section may not explain
5608any mathematics.) The relationship could be a matter of historical
5609connection with the subject or with related matters, or of legal,
5610commercial, philosophical, ethical or political position regarding
5611them.
5612
5613The "Invariant Sections" are certain Secondary Sections whose titles
5614are designated, as being those of Invariant Sections, in the notice
5615that says that the Document is released under this License. If a
5616section does not fit the above definition of Secondary then it is not
5617allowed to be designated as Invariant. The Document may contain zero
5618Invariant Sections. If the Document does not identify any Invariant
5619Sections then there are none.
5620
5621The "Cover Texts" are certain short passages of text that are listed,
5622as Front-Cover Texts or Back-Cover Texts, in the notice that says that
5623the Document is released under this License. A Front-Cover Text may
5624be at most 5 words, and a Back-Cover Text may be at most 25 words.
5625
5626A "Transparent" copy of the Document means a machine-readable copy,
5627represented in a format whose specification is available to the
5628general public, that is suitable for revising the document
5629straightforwardly with generic text editors or (for images composed of
5630pixels) generic paint programs or (for drawings) some widely available
5631drawing editor, and that is suitable for input to text formatters or
5632for automatic translation to a variety of formats suitable for input
5633to text formatters. A copy made in an otherwise Transparent file
5634format whose markup, or absence of markup, has been arranged to thwart
5635or discourage subsequent modification by readers is not Transparent.
5636An image format is not Transparent if used for any substantial amount
5637of text. A copy that is not "Transparent" is called "Opaque".
5638
5639Examples of suitable formats for Transparent copies include plain
5640ASCII without markup, Texinfo input format, LaTeX input format, SGML
5641or XML using a publicly available DTD, and standard-conforming simple
5642HTML, PostScript or PDF designed for human modification. Examples of
5643transparent image formats include PNG, XCF and JPG. Opaque formats
5644include proprietary formats that can be read and edited only by
5645proprietary word processors, SGML or XML for which the DTD and/or
5646processing tools are not generally available, and the
5647machine-generated HTML, PostScript or PDF produced by some word
5648processors for output purposes only.
5649
5650The "Title Page" means, for a printed book, the title page itself,
5651plus such following pages as are needed to hold, legibly, the material
5652this License requires to appear in the title page. For works in
5653formats which do not have any title page as such, "Title Page" means
5654the text near the most prominent appearance of the work`s title,
5655preceding the beginning of the body of the text.
5656
5657The "publisher" means any person or entity that distributes copies of
5658the Document to the public.
5659
5660A section "Entitled XYZ" means a named subunit of the Document whose
5661title either is precisely XYZ or contains XYZ in parentheses following
5662text that translates XYZ in another language. (Here XYZ stands for a
5663specific section name mentioned below, such as "Acknowledgements",
5664"Dedications", "Endorsements", or "History".) To "Preserve the Title"
5665of such a section when you modify the Document means that it remains a
5666section "Entitled XYZ" according to this definition.
5667
5668The Document may include Warranty Disclaimers next to the notice which
5669states that this License applies to the Document. These Warranty
5670Disclaimers are considered to be included by reference in this
5671License, but only as regards disclaiming warranties: any other
5672implication that these Warranty Disclaimers may have is void and has
5673no effect on the meaning of this License.
5674
56752. VERBATIM COPYING
5676
5677You may copy and distribute the Document in any medium, either
5678commercially or noncommercially, provided that this License, the
5679copyright notices, and the license notice saying this License applies
5680to the Document are reproduced in all copies, and that you add no
5681other conditions whatsoever to those of this License. You may not use
5682technical measures to obstruct or control the reading or further
5683copying of the copies you make or distribute. However, you may accept
5684compensation in exchange for copies. If you distribute a large enough
5685number of copies you must also follow the conditions in section 3.
5686
5687You may also lend copies, under the same conditions stated above, and
5688you may publicly display copies.
5689
5690
56913. COPYING IN QUANTITY
5692
5693If you publish printed copies (or copies in media that commonly have
5694printed covers) of the Document, numbering more than 100, and the
5695Document`s license notice requires Cover Texts, you must enclose the
5696copies in covers that carry, clearly and legibly, all these Cover
5697Texts: Front-Cover Texts on the front cover, and Back-Cover Texts on
5698the back cover. Both covers must also clearly and legibly identify
5699you as the publisher of these copies. The front cover must present
5700the full title with all words of the title equally prominent and
5701visible. You may add other material on the covers in addition.
5702Copying with changes limited to the covers, as long as they preserve
5703the title of the Document and satisfy these conditions, can be treated
5704as verbatim copying in other respects.
5705
5706If the required texts for either cover are too voluminous to fit
5707legibly, you should put the first ones listed (as many as fit
5708reasonably) on the actual cover, and continue the rest onto adjacent
5709pages.
5710
5711If you publish or distribute Opaque copies of the Document numbering
5712more than 100, you must either include a machine-readable Transparent
5713copy along with each Opaque copy, or state in or with each Opaque copy
5714a computer-network location from which the general network-using
5715public has access to download using public-standard network protocols
5716a complete Transparent copy of the Document, free of added material.
5717If you use the latter option, you must take reasonably prudent steps,
5718when you begin distribution of Opaque copies in quantity, to ensure
5719that this Transparent copy will remain thus accessible at the stated
5720location until at least one year after the last time you distribute an
5721Opaque copy (directly or through your agents or retailers) of that
5722edition to the public.
5723
5724It is requested, but not required, that you contact the authors of the
5725Document well before redistributing any large number of copies, to
5726give them a chance to provide you with an updated version of the
5727Document.
5728
5729
57304. MODIFICATIONS
5731
5732You may copy and distribute a Modified Version of the Document under
5733the conditions of sections 2 and 3 above, provided that you release
5734the Modified Version under precisely this License, with the Modified
5735Version filling the role of the Document, thus licensing distribution
5736and modification of the Modified Version to whoever possesses a copy
5737of it. In addition, you must do these things in the Modified Version:
5738
5739A. Use in the Title Page (and on the covers, if any) a title distinct
5740 from that of the Document, and from those of previous versions
5741 (which should, if there were any, be listed in the History section
5742 of the Document). You may use the same title as a previous version
5743 if the original publisher of that version gives permission.
5744B. List on the Title Page, as authors, one or more persons or entities
5745 responsible for authorship of the modifications in the Modified
5746 Version, together with at least five of the principal authors of the
5747 Document (all of its principal authors, if it has fewer than five),
5748 unless they release you from this requirement.
5749C. State on the Title page the name of the publisher of the
5750 Modified Version, as the publisher.
5751D. Preserve all the copyright notices of the Document.
5752E. Add an appropriate copyright notice for your modifications
5753 adjacent to the other copyright notices.
5754F. Include, immediately after the copyright notices, a license notice
5755 giving the public permission to use the Modified Version under the
5756 terms of this License, in the form shown in the Addendum below.
5757G. Preserve in that license notice the full lists of Invariant Sections
5758 and required Cover Texts given in the Document`s license notice.
5759H. Include an unaltered copy of this License.
5760I. Preserve the section Entitled "History", Preserve its Title, and add
5761 to it an item stating at least the title, year, new authors, and
5762 publisher of the Modified Version as given on the Title Page. If
5763 there is no section Entitled "History" in the Document, create one
5764 stating the title, year, authors, and publisher of the Document as
5765 given on its Title Page, then add an item describing the Modified
5766 Version as stated in the previous sentence.
5767J. Preserve the network location, if any, given in the Document for
5768 public access to a Transparent copy of the Document, and likewise
5769 the network locations given in the Document for previous versions
5770 it was based on. These may be placed in the "History" section.
5771 You may omit a network location for a work that was published at
5772 least four years before the Document itself, or if the original
5773 publisher of the version it refers to gives permission.
5774K. For any section Entitled "Acknowledgements" or "Dedications",
5775 Preserve the Title of the section, and preserve in the section all
5776 the substance and tone of each of the contributor acknowledgements
5777 and/or dedications given therein.
5778L. Preserve all the Invariant Sections of the Document,
5779 unaltered in their text and in their titles. Section numbers
5780 or the equivalent are not considered part of the section titles.
5781M. Delete any section Entitled "Endorsements". Such a section
5782 may not be included in the Modified Version.
5783N. Do not retitle any existing section to be Entitled "Endorsements"
5784 or to conflict in title with any Invariant Section.
5785O. Preserve any Warranty Disclaimers.
5786
5787If the Modified Version includes new front-matter sections or
5788appendices that qualify as Secondary Sections and contain no material
5789copied from the Document, you may at your option designate some or all
5790of these sections as invariant. To do this, add their titles to the
5791list of Invariant Sections in the Modified Version`s license notice.
5792These titles must be distinct from any other section titles.
5793
5794You may add a section Entitled "Endorsements", provided it contains
5795nothing but endorsements of your Modified Version by various
5796parties--for example, statements of peer review or that the text has
5797been approved by an organization as the authoritative definition of a
5798standard.
5799
5800You may add a passage of up to five words as a Front-Cover Text, and a
5801passage of up to 25 words as a Back-Cover Text, to the end of the list
5802of Cover Texts in the Modified Version. Only one passage of
5803Front-Cover Text and one of Back-Cover Text may be added by (or
5804through arrangements made by) any one entity. If the Document already
5805includes a cover text for the same cover, previously added by you or
5806by arrangement made by the same entity you are acting on behalf of,
5807you may not add another; but you may replace the old one, on explicit
5808permission from the previous publisher that added the old one.
5809
5810The author(s) and publisher(s) of the Document do not by this License
5811give permission to use their names for publicity for or to assert or
5812imply endorsement of any Modified Version.
5813
5814
58155. COMBINING DOCUMENTS
5816
5817You may combine the Document with other documents released under this
5818License, under the terms defined in section 4 above for modified
5819versions, provided that you include in the combination all of the
5820Invariant Sections of all of the original documents, unmodified, and
5821list them all as Invariant Sections of your combined work in its
5822license notice, and that you preserve all their Warranty Disclaimers.
5823
5824The combined work need only contain one copy of this License, and
5825multiple identical Invariant Sections may be replaced with a single
5826copy. If there are multiple Invariant Sections with the same name but
5827different contents, make the title of each such section unique by
5828adding at the end of it, in parentheses, the name of the original
5829author or publisher of that section if known, or else a unique number.
5830Make the same adjustment to the section titles in the list of
5831Invariant Sections in the license notice of the combined work.
5832
5833In the combination, you must combine any sections Entitled "History"
5834in the various original documents, forming one section Entitled
5835"History"; likewise combine any sections Entitled "Acknowledgements",
5836and any sections Entitled "Dedications". You must delete all sections
5837Entitled "Endorsements".
5838
5839
58406. COLLECTIONS OF DOCUMENTS
5841
5842You may make a collection consisting of the Document and other
5843documents released under this License, and replace the individual
5844copies of this License in the various documents with a single copy
5845that is included in the collection, provided that you follow the rules
5846of this License for verbatim copying of each of the documents in all
5847other respects.
5848
5849You may extract a single document from such a collection, and
5850distribute it individually under this License, provided you insert a
5851copy of this License into the extracted document, and follow this
5852License in all other respects regarding verbatim copying of that
5853document.
5854
5855
58567. AGGREGATION WITH INDEPENDENT WORKS
5857
5858A compilation of the Document or its derivatives with other separate
5859and independent documents or works, in or on a volume of a storage or
5860distribution medium, is called an "aggregate" if the copyright
5861resulting from the compilation is not used to limit the legal rights
5862of the compilation`s users beyond what the individual works permit.
5863When the Document is included in an aggregate, this License does not
5864apply to the other works in the aggregate which are not themselves
5865derivative works of the Document.
5866
5867If the Cover Text requirement of section 3 is applicable to these
5868copies of the Document, then if the Document is less than one half of
5869the entire aggregate, the Document`s Cover Texts may be placed on
5870covers that bracket the Document within the aggregate, or the
5871electronic equivalent of covers if the Document is in electronic form.
5872Otherwise they must appear on printed covers that bracket the whole
5873aggregate.
5874
5875
58768. TRANSLATION
5877
5878Translation is considered a kind of modification, so you may
5879distribute translations of the Document under the terms of section 4.
5880Replacing Invariant Sections with translations requires special
5881permission from their copyright holders, but you may include
5882translations of some or all Invariant Sections in addition to the
5883original versions of these Invariant Sections. You may include a
5884translation of this License, and all the license notices in the
5885Document, and any Warranty Disclaimers, provided that you also include
5886the original English version of this License and the original versions
5887of those notices and disclaimers. In case of a disagreement between
5888the translation and the original version of this License or a notice
5889or disclaimer, the original version will prevail.
5890
5891If a section in the Document is Entitled "Acknowledgements",
5892"Dedications", or "History", the requirement (section 4) to Preserve
5893its Title (section 1) will typically require changing the actual
5894title.
5895
5896
58979. TERMINATION
5898
5899You may not copy, modify, sublicense, or distribute the Document
5900except as expressly provided under this License. Any attempt
5901otherwise to copy, modify, sublicense, or distribute it is void, and
5902will automatically terminate your rights under this License.
5903
5904However, if you cease all violation of this License, then your license
5905from a particular copyright holder is reinstated (a) provisionally,
5906unless and until the copyright holder explicitly and finally
5907terminates your license, and (b) permanently, if the copyright holder
5908fails to notify you of the violation by some reasonable means prior to
590960 days after the cessation.
5910
5911Moreover, your license from a particular copyright holder is
5912reinstated permanently if the copyright holder notifies you of the
5913violation by some reasonable means, this is the first time you have
5914received notice of violation of this License (for any work) from that
5915copyright holder, and you cure the violation prior to 30 days after
5916your receipt of the notice.
5917
5918Termination of your rights under this section does not terminate the
5919licenses of parties who have received copies or rights from you under
5920this License. If your rights have been terminated and not permanently
5921reinstated, receipt of a copy of some or all of the same material does
5922not give you any rights to use it.
5923
5924
592510. FUTURE REVISIONS OF THIS LICENSE
5926
5927The Free Software Foundation may publish new, revised versions of the
5928GNU Free Documentation License from time to time. Such new versions
5929will be similar in spirit to the present version, but may differ in
5930detail to address new problems or concerns. See
5931http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/.
5932
5933Each version of the License is given a distinguishing version number.
5934If the Document specifies that a particular numbered version of this
5935License "or any later version" applies to it, you have the option of
5936following the terms and conditions either of that specified version or
5937of any later version that has been published (not as a draft) by the
5938Free Software Foundation. If the Document does not specify a version
5939number of this License, you may choose any version ever published (not
5940as a draft) by the Free Software Foundation. If the Document
5941specifies that a proxy can decide which future versions of this
5942License can be used, that proxy`s public statement of acceptance of a
5943version permanently authorizes you to choose that version for the
5944Document.
5945
594611. RELICENSING
5947
5948"Massive Multiauthor Collaboration Site" (or "MMC Site") means any
5949World Wide Web server that publishes copyrightable works and also
5950provides prominent facilities for anybody to edit those works. A
5951public wiki that anybody can edit is an example of such a server. A
5952"Massive Multiauthor Collaboration" (or "MMC") contained in the site
5953means any set of copyrightable works thus published on the MMC site.
5954
5955"CC-BY-SA" means the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0
5956license published by Creative Commons Corporation, a not-for-profit
5957corporation with a principal place of business in San Francisco,
5958California, as well as future copyleft versions of that license
5959published by that same organization.
5960
5961"Incorporate" means to publish or republish a Document, in whole or in
5962part, as part of another Document.
5963
5964An MMC is "eligible for relicensing" if it is licensed under this
5965License, and if all works that were first published under this License
5966somewhere other than this MMC, and subsequently incorporated in whole or
5967in part into the MMC, (1) had no cover texts or invariant sections, and
5968(2) were thus incorporated prior to November 1, 2008.
5969
5970The operator of an MMC Site may republish an MMC contained in the site
5971under CC-BY-SA on the same site at any time before August 1, 2009,
5972provided the MMC is eligible for relicensing.
5973
5974
5975ADDENDUM: How to use this License for your documents
5976
5977To use this License in a document you have written, include a copy of
5978the License in the document and put the following copyright and
5979license notices just after the title page:
5980
5981 Copyright (c) YEAR YOUR NAME.
5982 Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this document
5983 under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.3
5984 or any later version published by the Free Software Foundation;
5985 with no Invariant Sections, no Front-Cover Texts, and no Back-Cover Texts.
5986 A copy of the license is included in the section entitled "GNU
5987 Free Documentation License".
5988
5989If you have Invariant Sections, Front-Cover Texts and Back-Cover Texts,
5990replace the "with...Texts." line with this:
5991
5992 with the Invariant Sections being LIST THEIR TITLES, with the
5993 Front-Cover Texts being LIST, and with the Back-Cover Texts being LIST.
5994
5995If you have Invariant Sections without Cover Texts, or some other
5996combination of the three, merge those two alternatives to suit the
5997situation.
5998
5999If your document contains nontrivial examples of program code, we
6000recommend releasing these examples in parallel under your choice of
6001free software license, such as the GNU General Public License,
6002to permit their use in free software.

8653Contributor.
8654
86551.3. ``Covered Code`` means the Original Code or Modifications or the combination of
8656the Original Code and Modifications, in each case including portions thereof.
8657
86581.4. ``Electronic Distribution Mechanism`` means a mechanism generally accepted in the
8659software development community for the electronic transfer of data.
8660
86611.5. ``Executable`` means Covered Code in any form other than Source Code.
8662
86631.6. ``Initial Developer`` means the individual or entity identified as the Initial
8664Developer in the Source Code notice required by Exhibit A.
8665
86661.7. ``Larger Work`` means a work which combines Covered Code or portions thereof with
8667code not governed by the terms of this License.
8668
86691.8. ``License`` means this document.
8670
86711.9. ``Modifications`` means any addition to or deletion from the substance or
8672structure of either the Original Code or any previous Modifications. When Covered Code
8673is released as a series of files, a Modification is:
8674
8675A. Any addition to or deletion from the contents of a file containing Original Code or
8676previous Modifications.
8677
8678B. Any new file that contains any part of the Original Code or previous Modifications.
8679
86801.10. ``Original Code`` means Source Code of computer software code which is described
8681in the Source Code notice required by Exhibit A as Original Code, and which, at the
8682time of its release under this License is not already Covered Code governed by this
8683License.
8684
86851.11. ``Source Code`` means the preferred form of the Covered Code for making
8686modifications to it, including all modules it contains, plus any associated interface
8687definition files, scripts used to control compilation and installation of an
8688Executable, or a list of source code differential comparisons against either the
8689Original Code or another well known, available Covered Code of the Contributor`s
8690choice. The Source Code can be in a compressed or archival form, provided the
8691appropriate decompression or de-archiving software is widely available for no charge.
8692
86931.12. ``You`` means an individual or a legal entity exercising rights under, and
8694complying with all of the terms of, this License or a future version of this License
8695issued under Section 6.1. For legal entities, ``You`` includes any entity which
8696controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with You. For purposes of this
8697definition, ``control`` means (a) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
8698direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or otherwise, or (b)
8699ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the outstanding shares or beneficial
8700ownership of such entity.
8701
87022. Source Code License.
87032.1. The Initial Developer Grant.
8704The Initial Developer hereby grants You a world-wide, royalty-free, non-exclusive
8705license, subject to third party intellectual property claims:
8706(a) to use, reproduce, modify, display, perform, sublicense and distribute the
8707Original Code (or portions thereof) with or without Modifications, or as part of a
8708Larger Work; and
8709
8710(b) under patents now or hereafter owned or controlled by Initial Developer, to make,
8711have made, use and sell (``Utilize``) the Original Code (or portions thereof), but
8712solely to the extent that any such patent is reasonably necessary to enable You to
8713Utilize the Original Code (or portions thereof) and not to any greater extent that may
8714be necessary to Utilize further Modifications or combinations.
8715
87162.2. Contributor Grant.
8717Each Contributor hereby grants You a world-wide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license,
8718subject to third party intellectual property claims:
8719
8720(a) to use, reproduce, modify, display, perform, sublicense and distribute the
8721Modifications created by such Contributor (or portions thereof) either on an
8722unmodified basis, with other Modifications, as Covered Code or as part of a Larger
8723Work; and
8724
8725(b) under patents now or hereafter owned or controlled by Contributor, to Utilize the
8726Contributor Version (or portions thereof), but solely to the extent that any such
8727patent is reasonably necessary to enable You to Utilize the Contributor Version (or
8728portions thereof), and not to any greater extent that may be necessary to Utilize
8729further Modifications or combinations.
8730
87313. Distribution Obligations.
87323.1. Application of License.
8733The Modifications which You create or to which You contribute are governed by the
8734terms of this License, including without limitation Section 2.2. The Source Code
8735version of Covered Code may be distributed only under the terms of this License or a
8736future version of this License released under Section 6.1, and You must include a copy
8737of this License with every copy of the Source Code You distribute. You may not offer
8738or impose any terms on any Source Code version that alters or restricts the applicable
8739version of this License or the recipients` rights hereunder. However, You may include
8740an additional document offering the additional rights described in Section 3.5.
87413.2. Availability of Source Code.
8742Any Modification which You create or to which You contribute must be made available in
8743Source Code form under the terms of this License either on the same media as an
8744Executable version or via an accepted Electronic Distribution Mechanism to anyone to
8745whom you made an Executable version available; and if made available via Electronic
8746Distribution Mechanism, must remain available for at least twelve (12) months after
8747the date it initially became available, or at least six (6) months after a subsequent
8748version of that particular Modification has been made available to such recipients.
8749You are responsible for ensuring that the Source Code version remains available even
8750if the Electronic Distribution Mechanism is maintained by a third party.
8751
87523.3. Description of Modifications.
8753You must cause all Covered Code to which you contribute to contain a file documenting
8754the changes You made to create that Covered Code and the date of any change. You must
8755include a prominent statement that the Modification is derived, directly or
8756indirectly, from Original Code provided by the Initial Developer and including the
8757name of the Initial Developer in (a) the Source Code, and (b) in any notice in an
8758Executable version or related documentation in which You describe the origin or
8759ownership of the Covered Code.
8760
87613.4. Intellectual Property Matters
8762
8763(a) Third Party Claims.
8764If You have knowledge that a party claims an intellectual property right in particular
8765functionality or code (or its utilization under this License), you must include a text
8766file with the source code distribution titled ``LEGAL`` which describes the claim and
8767the party making the claim in sufficient detail that a recipient will know whom to
8768contact. If you obtain such knowledge after You make Your Modification available as
8769described in Section 3.2, You shall promptly modify the LEGAL file in all copies You
8770make available thereafter and shall take other steps (such as notifying appropriate
8771mailing lists or newsgroups) reasonably calculated to inform those who received the
8772Covered Code that new knowledge has been obtained.
8773
8774(b) Contributor APIs.
8775If Your Modification is an application programming interface and You own or control
8776patents which are reasonably necessary to implement that API, you must also include
8777this information in the LEGAL file.
8778
87793.5. Required Notices.
8780You must duplicate the notice in Exhibit A in each file of the Source Code, and this
8781License in any documentation for the Source Code, where You describe recipients`
8782rights relating to Covered Code. If You created one or more Modification(s), You may
8783add your name as a Contributor to the notice described in Exhibit A. If it is not
8784possible to put such notice in a particular Source Code file due to its structure,
8785then you must include such notice in a location (such as a relevant directory file)
8786where a user would be likely to look for such a notice. You may choose to offer, and
8787to charge a fee for, warranty, support, indemnity or liability obligations to one or
8788more recipients of Covered Code. However, You may do so only on Your own behalf, and
8789not on behalf of the Initial Developer or any Contributor. You must make it absolutely
8790clear than any such warranty, support, indemnity or liability obligation is offered by
8791You alone, and You hereby agree to indemnify the Initial Developer and every
8792Contributor for any liability incurred by the Initial Developer or such Contributor as
8793a result of warranty, support, indemnity or liability terms You offer.
8794
87953.6. Distribution of Executable Versions.
8796You may distribute Covered Code in Executable form only if the requirements of Section
87973.1-3.5 have been met for that Covered Code, and if You include a notice stating that
8798the Source Code version of the Covered Code is available under the terms of this
8799License, including a description of how and where You have fulfilled the obligations
8800of Section 3.2. The notice must be conspicuously included in any notice in an
8801Executable version, related documentation or collateral in which You describe
8802recipients` rights relating to the Covered Code. You may distribute the Executable
8803version of Covered Code under a license of Your choice, which may contain terms
8804different from this License, provided that You are in compliance with the terms of
8805this License and that the license for the Executable version does not attempt to limit
8806or alter the recipient`s rights in the Source Code version from the rights set forth
8807in this License. If You distribute the Executable version under a different license
8808You must make it absolutely clear that any terms which differ from this License are
8809offered by You alone, not by the Initial Developer or any Contributor. You hereby
8810agree to indemnify the Initial Developer and every Contributor for any liability
8811incurred by the Initial Developer or such Contributor as a result of any such terms
8812You offer.
8813
88143.7. Larger Works.
8815You may create a Larger Work by combining Covered Code with other code not governed by
8816the terms of this License and distribute the Larger Work as a single product. In such
8817a case, You must make sure the requirements of this License are fulfilled for the
8818Covered Code.
8819
88204. Inability to Comply Due to Statute or Regulation.
8821If it is impossible for You to comply with any of the terms of this License with
8822respect to some or all of the Covered Code due to statute or regulation then You must:
8823(a) comply with the terms of this License to the maximum extent possible; and (b)
8824describe the limitations and the code they affect. Such description must be included
8825in the LEGAL file described in Section 3.4 and must be included with all distributions
8826of the Source Code. Except to the extent prohibited by statute or regulation, such
8827description must be sufficiently detailed for a recipient of ordinary skill to be able
8828to understand it.
8829
88305. Application of this License.
8831This License applies to code to which the Initial Developer has attached the notice in
8832Exhibit A, and to related Covered Code.
88336. Versions of the License.
88346.1. New Versions.
8835Netscape Communications Corporation (``Netscape``) may publish revised and/or new
8836versions of the License from time to time. Each version will be given a distinguishing
8837version number.
88386.2. Effect of New Versions.
8839Once Covered Code has been published under a particular version of the License, You
8840may always continue to use it under the terms of that version. You may also choose to
8841use such Covered Code under the terms of any subsequent version of the License
8842published by Netscape. No one other than Netscape has the right to modify the terms
8843applicable to Covered Code created under this License.
8844
88456.3. Derivative Works.
8846If you create or use a modified version of this License (which you may only do in
8847order to apply it to code which is not already Covered Code governed by this License),
8848you must (a) rename Your license so that the phrases ``Mozilla``, ``MOZILLAPL``,
8849``MOZPL``, ``Netscape``, ``NPL`` or any confusingly similar phrase do not appear
8850anywhere in your license and (b) otherwise make it clear that your version of the
8851license contains terms which differ from the Mozilla Public License and Netscape
8852Public License. (Filling in the name of the Initial Developer, Original Code or
8853Contributor in the notice described in Exhibit A shall not of themselves be deemed to
8854be modifications of this License.)
8855
88567. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY.
8857COVERED CODE IS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LICENSE ON AN ``AS IS`` BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF
8858ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES THAT
8859THE COVERED CODE IS FREE OF DEFECTS, MERCHANTABLE, FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR
8860NON-INFRINGING. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE COVERED CODE
8861IS WITH YOU. SHOULD ANY COVERED CODE PROVE DEFECTIVE IN ANY RESPECT, YOU (NOT THE
8862INITIAL DEVELOPER OR ANY OTHER CONTRIBUTOR) ASSUME THE COST OF ANY NECESSARY
8863SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION. THIS DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY CONSTITUTES AN ESSENTIAL
8864PART OF THIS LICENSE. NO USE OF ANY COVERED CODE IS AUTHORIZED HEREUNDER EXCEPT UNDER
8865THIS DISCLAIMER.
88668. TERMINATION.
8867This License and the rights granted hereunder will terminate automatically if You fail
8868to comply with terms herein and fail to cure such breach within 30 days of becoming
8869aware of the breach. All sublicenses to the Covered Code which are properly granted
8870shall survive any termination of this License. Provisions which, by their nature, must
8871remain in effect beyond the termination of this License shall survive.
88729. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
8873UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE),
8874CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL THE INITIAL DEVELOPER, ANY OTHER CONTRIBUTOR, OR ANY
8875DISTRIBUTOR OF COVERED CODE, OR ANY SUPPLIER OF ANY OF SUCH PARTIES, BE LIABLE TO YOU
8876OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF
8877ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK
8878STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR ANY AND ALL OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR
8879LOSSES, EVEN IF SUCH PARTY SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
8880DAMAGES. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SHALL NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR
8881PERSONAL INJURY RESULTING FROM SUCH PARTY`S NEGLIGENCE TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE LAW
8882PROHIBITS SUCH LIMITATION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION
8883OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THAT EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY
8884TO YOU.
888510. U.S. GOVERNMENT END USERS.
8886The Covered Code is a ``commercial item,`` as that term is defined in 48 C.F.R. 2.101
8887(Oct. 1995), consisting of ``commercial computer software`` and ``commercial computer
8888software documentation,`` as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. 12.212 (Sept. 1995).
8889Consistent with 48 C.F.R. 12.212 and 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 through 227.7202-4 (June
88901995), all U.S. Government End Users acquire Covered Code with only those rights set
8891forth herein.
889211. MISCELLANEOUS.
8893This License represents the complete agreement concerning subject matter hereof. If
8894any provision of this License is held to be unenforceable, such provision shall be
8895reformed only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable. This License shall be
8896governed by California law provisions (except to the extent applicable law, if any,
8897provides otherwise), excluding its conflict-of-law provisions. With respect to
8898disputes in which at least one party is a citizen of, or an entity chartered or
8899registered to do business in, the United States of America: (a) unless otherwise
8900agreed in writing, all disputes relating to this License (excepting any dispute
8901relating to intellectual property rights) shall be subject to final and binding
8902arbitration, with the losing party paying all costs of arbitration; (b) any
8903arbitration relating to this Agreement shall be held in Santa Clara County,
8904California, under the auspices of JAMS/EndDispute; and (c) any litigation relating to
8905this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Federal Courts of the
8906Northern District of California, with venue lying in Santa Clara County, California,
8907with the losing party responsible for costs, including without limitation, court costs
8908and reasonable attorneys fees and expenses. The application of the United Nations
8909Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. Any
8910law or regulation which provides that the language of a contract shall be construed
8911against the drafter shall not apply to this License.
891212. RESPONSIBILITY FOR CLAIMS.
8913Except in cases where another Contributor has failed to comply with Section 3.4, You
8914are responsible for damages arising, directly or indirectly, out of Your utilization
8915of rights under this License, based on the number of copies of Covered Code you made
8916available, the revenues you received from utilizing such rights, and other relevant
8917factors. You agree to work with affected parties to distribute responsibility on an
8918equitable basis.

90503. Distribution Obligations.
9051
90523.1. Application of License.
9053
9054The Modifications which You create or to which You contribute are governed by the
9055terms of this License, including without limitation Section 2.2. The Source Code
9056version of Covered Code may be distributed only under the terms of this License or a
9057future version of this License released under Section 6.1, and You must include a copy
9058of this License with every copy of the Source Code You distribute. You may not offer
9059or impose any terms on any Source Code version that alters or restricts the applicable
9060version of this License or the recipients` rights hereunder. However, You may include
9061an additional document offering the additional rights described in Section 3.5.
9062
90633.2. Availability of Source Code.
9064
9065Any Modification which You create or to which You contribute must be made available in
9066Source Code form under the terms of this License either on the same media as an
9067Executable version or via an accepted Electronic Distribution Mechanism to anyone to
9068whom you made an Executable version available; and if made available via Electronic
9069Distribution Mechanism, must remain available for at least twelve (12) months after
9070the date it initially became available, or at least six (6) months after a subsequent
9071version of that particular Modification has been made available to such recipients.
9072You are responsible for ensuring that the Source Code version remains available even
9073if the Electronic Distribution Mechanism is maintained by a third party.
9074
90753.3. Description of Modifications.
9076
9077You must cause all Covered Code to which You contribute to contain a file documenting
9078the changes You made to create that Covered Code and the date of any change. You must
9079include a prominent statement that the Modification is derived, directly or
9080indirectly, from Original Code provided by the Initial Developer and including the
9081name of the Initial Developer in (a) the Source Code, and (b) in any notice in an
9082Executable version or related documentation in which You describe the origin or
9083ownership of the Covered Code.
9084
90853.4. Intellectual Property Matters
9086
9087(a) Third Party Claims
9088
9089If Contributor has knowledge that a license under a third party`s intellectual
9090property rights is required to exercise the rights granted by such Contributor under
9091Sections 2.1 or 2.2, Contributor must include a text file with the Source Code
9092distribution titled "LEGAL" which describes the claim and the party making the claim
9093in sufficient detail that a recipient will know whom to contact. If Contributor
9094obtains such knowledge after the Modification is made available as described in
9095Section 3.2, Contributor shall promptly modify the LEGAL file in all copies
9096Contributor makes available thereafter and shall take other steps (such as notifying
9097appropriate mailing lists or newsgroups) reasonably calculated to inform those who
9098received the Covered Code that new knowledge has been obtained.
9099
9100(b) Contributor APIs
9101
9102If Contributor`s Modifications include an application programming interface and
9103Contributor has knowledge of patent licenses which are reasonably necessary to
9104implement that API, Contributor must also include this information in the LEGAL file.
9105
9106(c) Representations.
9107
9108Contributor represents that, except as disclosed pursuant to Section 3.4 (a) above,
9109Contributor believes that Contributor`s Modifications are Contributor`s original
9110creation(s) and/or Contributor has sufficient rights to grant the rights conveyed by
9111this License.
9112
91133.5. Required Notices.
9114
9115You must duplicate the notice in Exhibit A in each file of the Source Code. If it is
9116not possible to put such notice in a particular Source Code file due to its structure,
9117then You must include such notice in a location (such as a relevant directory) where a
9118user would be likely to look for such a notice. If You created one or more
9119Modification(s) You may add your name as a Contributor to the notice described in
9120Exhibit A. You must also duplicate this License in any documentation for the Source
9121Code where You describe recipients` rights or ownership rights relating to Covered
9122Code. You may choose to offer, and to charge a fee for, warranty, support, indemnity
9123or liability obligations to one or more recipients of Covered Code. However, You may
9124do so only on Your own behalf, and not on behalf of the Initial Developer or any
9125Contributor. You must make it absolutely clear than any such warranty, support,
9126indemnity or liability obligation is offered by You alone, and You hereby agree to
9127indemnify the Initial Developer and every Contributor for any liability incurred by
9128the Initial Developer or such Contributor as a result of warranty, support, indemnity
9129or liability terms You offer.
9130
91313.6. Distribution of Executable Versions.
9132
9133You may distribute Covered Code in Executable form only if the requirements of
9134Sections 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5 have been met for that Covered Code, and if You
9135include a notice stating that the Source Code version of the Covered Code is available
9136under the terms of this License, including a description of how and where You have
9137fulfilled the obligations of Section 3.2. The notice must be conspicuously included in
9138any notice in an Executable version, related documentation or collateral in which You
9139describe recipients` rights relating to the Covered Code. You may distribute the
9140Executable version of Covered Code or ownership rights under a license of Your choice,
9141which may contain terms different from this License, provided that You are in
9142compliance with the terms of this License and that the license for the Executable
9143version does not attempt to limit or alter the recipient`s rights in the Source Code
9144version from the rights set forth in this License. If You distribute the Executable
9145version under a different license You must make it absolutely clear that any terms
9146which differ from this License are offered by You alone, not by the Initial Developer
9147or any Contributor. You hereby agree to indemnify the Initial Developer and every
9148Contributor for any liability incurred by the Initial Developer or such Contributor as
9149a result of any such terms You offer.
9150
91513.7. Larger Works.
9152
9153You may create a Larger Work by combining Covered Code with other code not governed by
9154the terms of this License and distribute the Larger Work as a single product. In such
9155a case, You must make sure the requirements of this License are fulfilled for the
9156Covered Code.
9157
91584. Inability to Comply Due to Statute or Regulation.
9159
9160If it is impossible for You to comply with any of the terms of this License with
9161respect to some or all of the Covered Code due to statute, judicial order, or
9162regulation then You must: (a) comply with the terms of this License to the maximum
9163extent possible; and (b) describe the limitations and the code they affect. Such
9164description must be included in the LEGAL file described in Section 3.4 and must be
9165included with all distributions of the Source Code. Except to the extent prohibited by
9166statute or regulation, such description must be sufficiently detailed for a recipient
9167of ordinary skill to be able to understand it.
9168
91695. Application of this License.
9170
9171This License applies to code to which the Initial Developer has attached the notice in
9172Exhibit A and to related Covered Code.
9173
91746. Versions of the License.
9175
91766.1. New Versions
9177
9178Netscape Communications Corporation ("Netscape") may publish revised and/or new
9179versions of the License from time to time. Each version will be given a distinguishing
9180version number.
9181
91826.2. Effect of New Versions
9183
9184Once Covered Code has been published under a particular version of the License, You
9185may always continue to use it under the terms of that version. You may also choose to
9186use such Covered Code under the terms of any subsequent version of the License
9187published by Netscape. No one other than Netscape has the right to modify the terms
9188applicable to Covered Code created under this License.
9189
91906.3. Derivative Works
9191
9192If You create or use a modified version of this License (which you may only do in
9193order to apply it to code which is not already Covered Code governed by this License),
9194You must (a) rename Your license so that the phrases "Mozilla", "MOZILLAPL", "MOZPL",
9195"Netscape", "MPL", "NPL" or any confusingly similar phrase do not appear in your
9196license (except to note that your license differs from this License) and (b) otherwise
9197make it clear that Your version of the license contains terms which differ from the
9198Mozilla Public License and Netscape Public License. (Filling in the name of the
9199Initial Developer, Original Code or Contributor in the notice described in Exhibit A
9200shall not of themselves be deemed to be modifications of this License.)
9201
92027. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
9203
9204COVERED CODE IS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LICENSE ON AN "AS IS" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF
9205ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES THAT
9206THE COVERED CODE IS FREE OF DEFECTS, MERCHANTABLE, FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR
9207NON-INFRINGING. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE COVERED CODE
9208IS WITH YOU. SHOULD ANY COVERED CODE PROVE DEFECTIVE IN ANY RESPECT, YOU (NOT THE
9209INITIAL DEVELOPER OR ANY OTHER CONTRIBUTOR) ASSUME THE COST OF ANY NECESSARY
9210SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION. THIS DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY CONSTITUTES AN ESSENTIAL
9211PART OF THIS LICENSE. NO USE OF ANY COVERED CODE IS AUTHORIZED HEREUNDER EXCEPT UNDER
9212THIS DISCLAIMER.
9213
92148. Termination
9215
92168.1. This License and the rights granted hereunder will terminate automatically if You
9217fail to comply with terms herein and fail to cure such breach within 30 days of
9218becoming aware of the breach. All sublicenses to the Covered Code which are properly
9219granted shall survive any termination of this License. Provisions which, by their
9220nature, must remain in effect beyond the termination of this License shall survive.

92228.2. If You initiate litigation by asserting a patent infringement claim (excluding
9223declatory judgment actions) against Initial Developer or a Contributor (the Initial
9224Developer or Contributor against whom You file such action is referred to as
9225"Participant") alleging that:
9226
9227such Participant`s Contributor Version directly or indirectly infringes any patent,
9228then any and all rights granted by such Participant to You under Sections 2.1 and/or
92292.2 of this License shall, upon 60 days notice from Participant terminate
9230prospectively, unless if within 60 days after receipt of notice You either: (i) agree
9231in writing to pay Participant a mutually agreeable reasonable royalty for Your past
9232and future use of Modifications made by such Participant, or (ii) withdraw Your
9233litigation claim with respect to the Contributor Version against such Participant. If
9234within 60 days of notice, a reasonable royalty and payment arrangement are not
9235mutually agreed upon in writing by the parties or the litigation claim is not
9236withdrawn, the rights granted by Participant to You under Sections 2.1 and/or 2.2
9237automatically terminate at the expiration of the 60 day notice period specified above.
9238any software, hardware, or device, other than such Participant`s Contributor Version,
9239directly or indirectly infringes any patent, then any rights granted to You by such
9240Participant under Sections 2.1(b) and 2.2(b) are revoked effective as of the date You
9241first made, used, sold, distributed, or had made, Modifications made by that
9242Participant.
92438.3. If You assert a patent infringement claim against Participant alleging that such
9244Participant`s Contributor Version directly or indirectly infringes any patent where
9245such claim is resolved (such as by license or settlement) prior to the initiation of
9246patent infringement litigation, then the reasonable value of the licenses granted by
9247such Participant under Sections 2.1 or 2.2 shall be taken into account in determining
9248the amount or value of any payment or license.
9249
92508.4. In the event of termination under Sections 8.1 or 8.2 above, all end user license
9251agreements (excluding distributors and resellers) which have been validly granted by
9252You or any distributor hereunder prior to termination shall survive termination.
9253
92549. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9255
9256UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE),
9257CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL YOU, THE INITIAL DEVELOPER, ANY OTHER CONTRIBUTOR, OR
9258ANY DISTRIBUTOR OF COVERED CODE, OR ANY SUPPLIER OF ANY OF SUCH PARTIES, BE LIABLE TO
9259ANY PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY
9260CHARACTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE,
9261COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR ANY AND ALL OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES,
9262EVEN IF SUCH PARTY SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS
9263LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SHALL NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY
9264RESULTING FROM SUCH PARTY`S NEGLIGENCE TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS SUCH
9265LIMITATION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL
9266OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THIS EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

9789SIL OPEN FONT LICENSE
9790
9791Version 1.1 - 26 February 2007
9792
9793PREAMBLE
9794The goals of the Open Font License (OFL) are to stimulate worldwide
9795development of collaborative font projects, to support the font creation
9796efforts of academic and linguistic communities, and to provide a free and
9797open framework in which fonts may be shared and improved in partnership
9798with others.
9799
9800The OFL allows the licensed fonts to be used, studied, modified and
9801redistributed freely as long as they are not sold by themselves. The
9802fonts, including any derivative works, can be bundled, embedded,
9803redistributed and/or sold with any software provided that any reserved
9804names are not used by derivative works. The fonts and derivatives,
9805however, cannot be released under any other type of license. The
9806requirement for fonts to remain under this license does not apply
9807to any document created using the fonts or their derivatives.
9808
9809DEFINITIONS
9810"Font Software" refers to the set of files released by the Copyright
9811Holder(s) under this license and clearly marked as such. This may
9812include source files, build scripts and documentation.
9813
9814"Reserved Font Name" refers to any names specified as such after the
9815copyright statement(s).
9816
9817"Original Version" refers to the collection of Font Software components as
9818distributed by the Copyright Holder(s).
9819
9820"Modified Version" refers to any derivative made by adding to, deleting,
9821or substituting -- in part or in whole -- any of the components of the
9822Original Version, by changing formats or by porting the Font Software to a
9823new environment.
9824
9825"Author" refers to any designer, engineer, programmer, technical
9826writer or other person who contributed to the Font Software.
9827
9828PERMISSION and CONDITIONS
9829Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining
9830a copy of the Font Software, to use, study, copy, merge, embed, modify,
9831redistribute, and sell modified and unmodified copies of the Font
9832Software, subject to the following conditions:
9833
98341) Neither the Font Software nor any of its individual components,
9835in Original or Modified Versions, may be sold by itself.
9836
98372) Original or Modified Versions of the Font Software may be bundled,
9838redistributed and/or sold with any software, provided that each copy
9839contains the above copyright notice and this license. These can be
9840included either as stand-alone text files, human-readable headers or
9841in the appropriate machine-readable metadata fields within text or
9842binary files as long as those fields can be easily viewed by the user.
9843
98443) No Modified Version of the Font Software may use the Reserved Font
9845Name(s) unless explicit written permission is granted by the corresponding
9846Copyright Holder. This restriction only applies to the primary font name as
9847presented to the users.
9848
98494) The name(s) of the Copyright Holder(s) or the Author(s) of the Font
9850Software shall not be used to promote, endorse or advertise any
9851Modified Version, except to acknowledge the contribution(s) of the
9852Copyright Holder(s) and the Author(s) or with their explicit written
9853permission.
9854
98555) The Font Software, modified or unmodified, in part or in whole,
9856must be distributed entirely under this license, and must not be
9857distributed under any other license. The requirement for fonts to
9858remain under this license does not apply to any document created
9859using the Font Software.
9860
9861TERMINATION
9862This license becomes null and void if any of the above conditions are
9863not met.
9864
9865DISCLAIMER
9866THE FONT SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
